Main Event Results 4/17/13
By JT · · Leave a CommentAs the wind whips around outside my house I figure I should take the time and give you the results of this weeks edition of Main Event featuring a 11 man Battle Royal to become #1 contender for the Intercontinental Championship.
Match 1: 11 man Battle Royal to determine the #1 contender for the Intercontinental Championship featuring The Usos, Drew McIntyre, Jinder Mahal, Epico, Primo, Santino Marella, Alex Riley, Justin Gabriel, Yoshi Tatsu and The Great Khali. Before the match starts, Barrett comes out and begins to trash the challengers than Khali comes out and they go face to face, a little foreshadowing, eh. Well here’ the order of elimination as follows:
- 1st Uso by Drew McIntyre (they didn’t say which one was eliminated either time so I couldn’t tell you which)
- Yoshi Tatsu by Primo
- Epico by Khali
- Jinder Mahal by Khali
- Khali by everyone left
- 2nd Uso by Alex Riley (again not saying which one, looks like a certain tag team is in some deep shit)
- Alex Riley by Primo
- Santino by Drew McIntyre
- Drew McIntyre byt Justin Gabriel
- Primo by Justin Gabriel
Your winner and guy who will be facing Wade Barrett later on in the program, Justin Gabriel. Not a bad little battle Royal. Totally didn’t see Gabriel winning since he’s been nonexistent lately and they hinted at Khali winning earlier by not only having him come out last but the only guy getting an intro.
Post match, Gabriel says he’s ready and that Wade Barrett’t title reign will come to an abrupt halt.
RAW recap 1- The World Title situation
RAW recap 2- CM Punk walks out
RAW recap 3- Brock Lesnar kills 3MB & Heyman challenges HHH
Wade Barrett mocks Matt Striker, says he’s gonna get back at R-Truth for what happened on RAW, calls himself a real man, and says he’s gonna beat Gabriel.
Match 2: Wade Barrett def. Justin Gabriel- Yeah, predictable ending but the mach overall was great. This is definitely one worth finding on youtube or wherever you go to watch online.
Overall, really good show. I’m glad that Main Event has gotten better over the last couple weeks, I don’t feel like I’m wasting my time watching it. Well that’s all for now and if you don’t hear from me bWf radio 2pm EST!
