This week on BoredWrestlingFan Radio, Joe and G forego their wrestling themed responsibilities in favor of the NHL Playoffs, which they are both watching as the show goes on.  JT is unable to secure Metallica’s “No Life ‘Til Leather” cassette on Record Store Day in the Syracuse Screwjob, and Mark struggles with geography thanks to a poor teacher – Michael Cole.

After we talk about wrestling TV, or what little we’ve watched of it this week thanks to hockey, we get into the news.  Randy Orton complains that his shirts aren’t available in kid sizes.  Daniel Bryan’s injury is coming back to haunt him.  Something about The Miz and Paige and The Simpsons’ dog.  Steve Austin may or may not be at odds with the WWE.  The Briscoes aren’t going to WWE after all.  TNA Wrestlers got paid late, and Taz left because of it.  Plus, are there issues between TNA and Destination America already?  All this and more, tune in!

  2. There was something else I wanted to talk about this week but then Cole was just way too infuriating on commentary. What did he do that annoyed me so much? Well find out by listening to the show. Warning; contains excessive use of the word “fuck”.

  3. BWF173This week on BWF Radio, Cleveland Browns TE Gary Barnidge returns to the show to talk about his WrestleMania 31 experience, and the video that went viral earlier this year of a Turkish reporter asking to take a tackle at the recent American Football Without Barriers camp.  After Gary takes off, we talk about RAW (Kane was there), Lucha Underground, NXT, and anything else we feel like talking about in wrestling television from this week.

In the news, the RAW rating plunges, Jericho’s podcast does big numbers, and the WWE applies for some interesting new trademarks.  Ronda Rousey’s plans for WrestleMania 32 may or may not include a match against Stephanie McMahon, but her book won’t be sold in WalMart.  SmackDown is moving to USA, but Tough Enough will be there first.  Scott Steiner is accused of “terroristic threats.”  News on the National Wrestling Alliance, and CJP debuts in CZW.  All this and much, much more!

  4. First off I’d like to apologise for how late the show is this week. I explain why in the show itself. This week I also explain why Sting came out to Taiko Drums at Wrestlemania Play Button. Did he forget he’s American and think he was Japanese? Not quite.

  5. Tonight on RAW, Seth Rollins opened the show talking about The Authority’s accomplishments at WrestleMania Play-Button two Sundays ago. He was at a loss for words as to what Kane’s accomplishments were. Being bored (hence the name of the website) waiting for the NCAA Final Four Final to start, I whipped these up for no good reason. Because alas, Kane was there too.

  6. BWF172This week on BoredWrestlingFan Radio, we talk about the fallout of WrestleMania 31 including RAW and SmackDown.  We talk about how good performers such as Dean Ambrose bring good performances out of John Cena.  We talk about how great Seth Rollins has been this week.  We talk about how WCW Uncensored ’98 makes WrestleMania make no sense.  Seriously!

In the news, AJ Lee retires from professional wrestling.  Justin Roberts opens a discussion on philantrophy’s role in business with regards to Connor “The Crusher” Michalek.  We talk about some interesting stories coming out of last weekend’s WWE Hall of Fame ceremony.  We get into a discussion about the reasons why Chris Jericho’s podcast on the WWE Network won’t be as edgy as Steve Austin’s.  Ronda Rousey’s WWE appearance and potential for future ones is discussed.  We find out when Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Brock Lesnar found out the finish for WrestleMania.  All this and MUCH much more on BWF Radio!

  7. This week I forego looking at Wrestlemania and telling you how good it was to instead look at the forgotten promotions of last week. On the show last week we talked nothing but Wrestlemania, so this week on TFVB I’m going to take a look at Lucha Underground and TNA from last week and let you know what you missed out on.

  8. We said we weren’t.  We said we wouldn’t.  We said there was going to be nothing that would make us do it.  We were wrong.  For the second consecutive year, we were shocked enough by an occurrence at WrestleMania that we were compelled to do a post show.

“We’ll go about 30.”  Infamous last words, apparently, as Joe and G went over two hours talking about WrestleMania 31, which turned out to be far better than any of our crew expected.  While we didn’t quite get some of the outcomes (Sting jobbed to Triple H?  Really?), overall we were pleased with the event – particularly the ending.  Tune in!

  10. In this episode I disclose a frankly preposterous idea I have for the divas this year at Wrestlemania that would make the match better. It’s pretty bad that the Diva’s title isn’t on the line at the biggest show of them all. I have a solution.
