    Hello there. Your big name player in the BWF has a brand new piece coming to here, and to our sister site, VinceRussoWatchesHisBeardGrow.com, but I need your help out there. What it is, is that I will be going back to the good ol’ days of ‘rasslin, with a review of an event from the past, whether it be a PPV, an episode of RAW is WAR, a special UK event, even an independent event, If I have it, I’ll review it.

    This will also be a fan interaction piece, with you the reader, deciding which event I review. Your choices for the first review are:

    On Monday, January 4, 2010, TNA will be attempting to play the role of David to the WWE’s Goliath.  Will TNA slay the mighty WWE?  The ratings will be looked at for the live airings of each event, so what I want to know is, which are you watching LIVE as it airs?  Let us know!

  6. If I wrote a book…

    So I’ve been thinking about it.  I want to write a book.  I want to write about the reasons I’m a wrestling fan and the moments that have defined and strengthen my love of professional wrestling since I began watching 24 years ago.  This, of course, begs the question:  If I were to write a book, would anybody buy it?  Let me know!

  7. Quick question for our readers

    Due to a recent change in the way our pages are served to you, our readers, the BWF Skins feature no longer works the way it should.  As such, I’ve decided to eliminate the feature from the site, but I’m left with seven different themes to choose from as the be-all, end-all BWF theme.  I recently stated that I’d be eliminating “Grungy” and “BlueMania 25” anyway, so that narrows it down to 5 choices.  Yours truly is fond of the new “Grunge 2.0″ theme, particularly because it makes expanding the site easier on me, but feel free to choose any of the five options below.

  9. BWF fires up the VCR: WrestleMania X

    I’m not really going to go too far in depth about WrestleMania X here.  You all know what happened, I don’t need to tell you.  It just so happened that we broke out the old video tape, and it has the WrestleMania X pre-show!  That could be an article all it’s own, but I’ll save the entire thing for the folks at WrestleCrap.  I’d just like to point out though, that the pre-show featured such legendary WWE announcers as Todd Pettengill and Johnny Polo interviewing such superstars as Diesel and Double J.  Yup.

    In any event, the real reason I’m posting this article is a discussion we just had.  When we were little and couldn’t afford Pay Per Views, we used to be able to flip to the PPV channel on our televisions and listen to the events with scrambled video.  We’re just curious – how many of you have done that too?
