This week on BoredWrestlingFan Radio, we’re joined by IHWE representative Michael McCurdy, who talks to us about last night’s New Years Knockout event, which experienced a power outage and has been referred to as “New Years Blackout,” “NWA Beware of Dog,” and other lights out puns.  We turn the topic to the upcoming NWA Parade of Champions event in Fort Worth, TX which kicks off WrestleMania weekend.  We talk about the transition from Insane Hardcore Wrestling Entertainment to Iconic Heroes of Wrestling Excellence, and the company’s new partnership with the National Wrestling Alliance.  We talk about Jim Cornette, fast food, Sunny’s new business venture, among other topics.

In the news, we find out more about the contract AJ Styles has with WWE.  Shinsuke Nakamura is confirmed to also be on his way.  Triple H breaks a record.  Lana gets more backstage heat.  The Rock causes a “nightmare” for Vince McMahon.  Daniel Bryan is cleared by more doctors, but still not by the one who counts.  Injury updates on Hideo Itami, Nikki Bella, and Alberto Del Rio.  Awesome Kong is sent home from TNA’s UK tour.  Jay Lethal and ReDragon re-sign with ROH.  Lucha Underground returns to television.  We preview this week’s Total Divas as only we can.  All this, and much, much more on BoredWrestlingFan Radio!  Tune in!
