This week on BWF Radio, we lose the first 15 minutes of the show due to technical difficulties – difficulties we fortunately realized were happening before former WCW manager Sonny Onoo called in to the show.  A great guest, Sonny talked at length with us about getting started his karate days, meeting Eric Bischoff, his transition into WCW, managing great foreign talent within the organization, and his departure and subsequent lawsuit.  We find out what he’s been up to lately, talk women’s wrestling with him, and he drops some lesser known facts about WCW Championships on us.

In the news, we get a ton of information on Global Force Wrestling.  We tell you about RAWlternative 2 which airs tomorrow night on YouTube.  Shoulder injuries about in professional wrestling over the last few weeks.  Hulk Hogan is mad at Brutus Beefcake.  News on the return of the Elimination Chamber later this month including what titles will be on the line and a surprising idea of how one of the matches may work.  Destination America may be growing sour on TNA, and we discuss what that means for the promotion.  Bob Backlund interrupts Verne Gagne’s funeral, and Justin Bieber could have wound up on SummerSlam.  All this and much, much more, tune in!

  5. I have quite a treat for you Bored Wrestling Fans this week. When we announced that there would be no show this week JT suggested that I do an extended version of The View From Britain and I agreed. I announced on Twitter this week the episode would be delayed until Saturday. That was so that I could finish watching all the wrestling this week. That’s what I’ll be talking about this week. It’s nothing but me talking wrestling for an hour. Let me know if you enjoy it.

In the news, we pay our respects to Verne Gagne.  Booker T has angered the Hart family over accidental comments made with regards to Owen Hart.  Lana’s imminent face turn and the reasons why.  Lucha Underground’s future is discussed, Billy Corgan takes over TNA, and we get more details on Global Force Wrestling.  All this and more – tune in!

This week on BWF Radio, Angelico quickly becomes the topic of conversation by way of his dive from the top of Dario Cueto’s office onto The Crew during the trios tournament on Lucha Underground this past Wednesday.  The conversation drifts away from wrestling, as per usual, allowing Joe, JT, and G to talk about Batman for a while, before they give their Extreme Rules predictions for this evening’s event.  G debuts a new game, pitting Joe and JT against one another in a game of celebrity quotes.

In the news, the Lucha Underground crew were assured that there will be a second season, with the show rotation being 39 weeks on, 13 weeks off.  Daniel Bryan may or may not be a part of Extreme Rules tonight due to injury.  Bill Goldberg leaves us wondering what his next move is as he says he’ll make one last pro wrestling appearance, but not for WWE.  We get updates on Global Force Wrestling.  George “The Animal” Steele reveals why his tongue was green, and CM Punk makes Hideo Itami laugh.  All this, and much, much more on BWF Radio!

  9. First of all my apologies about how late the show is this week. I’ve been having a rough week and was unable to really record something. The delay meant that something could happen to annoy me though. That something was Corey Graves on NXT commentary. What started out as a bit of a rant about Corey turned in to a full blown rant about WWE commentary in general. As well as praise for the commentary teams on the other shows of course. We look at positives here at Bored Wrestling Fan.

No, seriously, we do. Please stop laughing.
