We initially hadn’t planned on doing a post-show this year – but then the moment happened. You know which one. That unbelievable, unthinkable moment where Brock Lesnar pinned The Undertaker at WrestleMania. That’s the moment where G messaged me on facebook and said “we have to do a podcast.” I knew why. I agreed. So G, myself, JT, and the dudes from Booker Tees jumped on Skype and did a WrestleMania XXX post game show. We cover the card top to bottom and try to answer the questions we’re sure were on everybody’s mind as best we could as fans of this business. Even Mrs. ThinkSoJoE hopped in for a moment. Enjoy!
Brian Muller of Lost Elysium and Adrian and Chris from Booker Tees join us for our annual WrestleMania craziness. Joe and Jorge plug the upcoming Empire State Wrestling event. All eight panelists weigh in with their WrestleMania XXX picks. We give thoughts on the 2014 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony from last night, and we play wrestling trivia, in what Joe calls “a terrible segment.” All this and much more on this week’s BoredWrestlingFan Radio!
Ok. So there are some problems that have arisen with doing this. One is that several participants are not in the game. I’ve alleviated that by downloading created versions of them from the WWE Community Creations. The next problem is that three matches have more than the allowed six participants. I will address those situations as I get to them. So, let’s go.
WWE Tag Team Championship: RybAxel vs. The Real Americans vs. Los Matadores vs. The Usos (c)
Both problems mentioned above apply to this match. On top of that, I had issues trying to download a version of Diego from Los Matadores. So, I’ve addressed both of these issues by making this a fatal four-way match between Ryback, Cesaro, Fernando, and Jey Uso.
Winners and still Tag Team Champions: The Usos
Vickie Guerrero Diva’s Championship Invitational
There is no way I’m even trying to obtain all of the Divas in this match. Besides the fact that the most I can put into a match are six characters. So instead, I’ve made this a six-Diva battle royal. The participants are Diva’s Champion AJ Lee, Natalya, Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, Summer Rae, and Layla. These were six of the seven available Divas in the game who are actually in the match, the seventh being Aksana, who you can pretty much put money on not winning at WrestleMania anyway.
Winner and new Diva’s Champion: Brie Bella
Triple H vs. Daniel Bryan (winner goes to the main event)
I put this one here on the card because I’d expect it to go on earlier in the night. I’m just speculating the order of matches here. It’s not a science.
Winner: Daniel Bryan
The Shield vs. Kane & The New Age Outlaws
Had to download The Outlaws. And then I found a really awesome Kane, so I downloaded that too. And then I downloaded Corporate Kane.
Winners: The Shield by Disqualification
John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt
I downloaded Wyatt, but not Harper and Rowan, despite the fact you’ll probably see them get involved at WrestleMania.
Winner: Bray Wyatt
The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar
Yes, Paul Heyman is in Brock Lesnar’s corner for this one.
Winner: Brock Lesnar
Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal
How to pick just six guys? The six I wound up picking I chose because they are the ones that have gotten the most TV time promoting the match. Big E, Christian, Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler, Alberto Del Rio, and Big Show.
Winner: Big E
WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Randy Orton vs. Batista vs. Daniel Bryan
Bryan is in this one by way of his win earlier over Triple H
Winner and new WWE World Heavyweight Champion: Batista
