Well it’s been a few weeks since my last endeavor so I figured I come on and say some things:

1.  I have some kind of announcement coming in the next couple weeks so keep an eye out on facebook, twitter and google+ (does anybody still use this).  Don’t worry it’s nothing bad.

2.  So today we find out who will represent in this year’s Superbowl.  As a long time football fan it saddens me to say that I really don’t care this year, I hate the 49ers and the Patriots and the Giants and Ravens are just meh to me.  Though I would like to see the Giants play the Ravens this year, at this point, I’m just not feeling it.

3.  I got what is called a retro duo for Christmas which plays old style Nintendo and Super Nintendo games and it has turned into a NES addict. Oh how I missed those games.

4.  Also for Christmas I got the Stone Cold Steve Austin 4 DVD set “The Bottom Line on The Most Popular Superstar of All Time”  and I have to say it’s well worth the money. Here’s a quick runthrough:

  • Disc 1 has a 2.5 hour documentary on how he came to be.  It does drag towards the end though getting into his movie career and such but the only movie they talk about for him is “The Condemned” which we all know there has been more.  Also on this disc in the Special features section includes extended stories on hoe he became the Rattlesnake and The Stunner as well as many others.
  • Disc 2 & 3 are the matches most of which are on other DVD’s as he comes out and says before the 1st match, but he says that they were important enough for them to be on here.  My only gripe here is that there are only 2 pre WWE matches on here, I would’ve like to have seen more. Also there’s only about 4.5 hours between both discs.
  • Disc 4 is strictly a promo disc with some of his best stuff.  This my friends is where the set pays off.  I watch these and miss those days.

5.  Also for Christmas this year I got ” The Best Of The King Of The Ring” 3 DVD set.  This one also comes highly recommended. There isn’t much rehashing on here except for Austin’s King of the Ring victory (also on the 4 disc set) and the infamous Hell In The Cell match between Undertaker and Mankind which is on every best of set, even HHH’s I think.  The only gripe here is the omission of two Kings, Mabel (aka Viscera, aka Big Daddy V) and Billy Gunn (aka Mr.Ass) for reasons I do not know.  I know WWE is trying for family friendly and announcing that the King Ass isn’t very PG, but just announce him ad Billy Gunn.  I’m not saying that we needed to see the two in their tournament finals matches, just an acknowledgment.  It is also hosted by Booker T who revives his awesome King Booker character one last time.

Well that’s all I have for now thanks again for reading and see you all next time.

  1. 2. I hardly watch football, but kind of payed attention to both games on Sunday as I messed around my place. What can I say, I'm a sucker for big games and drama in any sport… and thought both delivered good stories and close games. Hell, I kind of want to see the Superbowl now.
