Well it’s early morning here in JTland and since I’m up and not drunk, I figured I’d give this to you a little early so I don’t have to do it later when I get up.  So lets take a look back at this past week and see what went down:

1.  R.I.P. Peter Steele.  For those who don’t know who he was, he was the leas singer/bassist for the Metal band Type O Negative.  Their 1993 album “Bloody Kisses” was the first ever Roadrunner Records release to go Gold.  They are one of my all time favorite bands and “Bloody Kisses” is one of my all time top ten favorite CD’s.  Their sound was unique and Peter’s voice was one of a kind and will be missed.

2.  David Hassellhoff  did one thing on RAW and that was reek of Awesomeness.  So much so that it was almose as much as the Triumvirate of TN-Awesomeness!

3.  So Eve is the new Diva’s champion.  Now I know that I’m the first to crap on the Divas and say how bad they are but you know what???  Congrats Eve you deserve it.  I  remember back in August when I saw her at a house show and she was bad, she was botching moves left and right and almost injured herself.  But I have noticed that she has gotten a lot better since then and this is the crowning achievement.

4.  So it’s being reported that in October that Smackdown is moving (yet again) from MyNetwork to the SyFy network.  Ok, just have to change the channel on my DVR that’s all.

5.  It’s also being reported that with the Smackdown move, that NXT will be ended in October.  Thats ok NXT wasn’t that good of a program, it SUX.

6.  I’ve been meaning to do a podcast and will one day, just don’t know when.  My original plan was to do a post Wrestlemania one, but never got around to it and by the time I was going to, Jackie Swagger had won the World title.

Alright I think that’s all I’ve got for this week sorry if it’s not enough, I’ll try harder next time.  Thank you all for reading and see you all next time.

p.s. If you want to do the Extreme Rules Roundtable, pm me over at the forums by no later than next Saturday 5p.m. eastern time.

  1. 2). I wasn't crazy about his backstage skits… although the use of Hornswoggle here was probably the most appropriate of all the hosts to date. Hoff's opening monologue was very strong, he seemed really comfortable in that role.

5). They said it was not supposed to run year round, rather periodically. We'll just have to see what happens. I'd be, much like the Diva Search, that more than one ends up with a job.
