He’s the Bee’s Knees. He’s the Cat’s Pajamas. He’s The Whole Shebang, Johnny Gargano. The current Dragon Gate USA Open The Freedom Gate Champion joins BoredWrestlingFan’s ThinkSoJoE and Justin Ruff to talk about his career. Johnny talks about his thoughts on Vince McMahon, the independent wrestling scene, what he would like to do for a living if it were possible, Daniel Bryan, Gregory Iron, Brodus Clay, and a whole lot more in this 41 minute interview.
Here we are folks, in the build up and hype of WrestleMania (and a Celebration of Professional Wrestling, for that matter), it’s easy to forget that other promotion, Total Nonstop Apathy. But it is still on, believe it or not!
You’ve got to wonder how TNA will attempt to compete tonight, or if they’ll just pump out another typical crash-and-burn episode and save something better for another week. They do have their own PPV coming up soon, and if they’re smart they will build towards it. But they’re not, and likely they won’t. Let’s get the madness, shall we? (more…)
We’re down to one week before the first elimination. Tonight’s main event is David Otunga vs his pro R-Truth. In addition, the rookie challenge is an obstacle course. (more…)
Its the first WWE Superstars after Summerslam. Let’s go.
Match 1: The All-American American Jack Swagger vs Mr Cartwheel…Primo
Get down on your knees! I’m a big fan of Jack Swagger…Jerk of the Month in WWE Magazine or not. The All-American American gets the win with his Gut Wrench Powerbomb. After the match, he gets on the mic and says we are looking at the only Superstar born to be the US champ. Watch out Kofi!
Ask the Divas segment….”How do I know if a girl likes me?”
We see Gregory Helms enter the boiler room and out comes The Hurricane!
Match 2: The Hurricane vs Paul Burchill w/ Katie Lea
Stand back! There’s a Hurricane coming through. Katie Lea needs to stop wearing her make-up like that. She looks horrendous. Paul Burchill has gotten fat. The Ripper gets the win with the interference from his sister.
Main Event Triple Threat: Dolph Ziggler vs Finlay vs Mike Knox
Winner of this match faces Rey Mysterio at Breaking Point for the Intercontinental title. Dolph says Mysterio’s win at Summerslam was a fluke. Mike Knox is severely under-utilized. That guy is a big sumuma-gun. He attempts to hit Finlay with the sheleleigh (spell check), but misses and Finlay hits the Celtic Cross. Finlay for the pin, but Dolph throws him off and gets the pin for himself.
This show was better than the recent ones have been. At least they made sense this week. Check me out again next week and see if Superstars can remain sensable.
Hey everybody…I’m back this week for another review of WWE Superstars. Special thanks goes out to Joe for filling in for me last week while I was away. My DVR says Vince McMahon forces Chavo Guerrero to wrestle on his knees against Hornswoggle, so lets find out what happens with that.
Match 1: Wassup?! R-Truth be skippin and jumpin against Ricky Ortiz.
Ricky O comes out with a mic and says everybody needs to rally up their personal lives. I wish they would really get deep into the motivational speaker persona with Ortiz…that would be great. R-Truth hits the Lie Detector for the win against Ricky Ortiz, who seemingly dominated the match.
Mr. McMahon is seen in his office and Hornswoggle and Chavo enter. Chavo says the midget bit him and Vince says Chavo will compete on his knees. That should be a normal position for Chavo…I mean how else does he keep his job???
Match 2: Woo Woo Woo…You know it! Zack Ryder vs Tyler Reks
Tyler Reks walks like he has a surfboard up his butt. Matt Stryker and Josh Matthews have some witty banter about Zack Ryder being a tool and that clearly exemplifies how absolutely boring this match is. Tyler Reks is the master of the armbar and Ryder just sucks. I smell two future endeavores coming soon…hopefully. Anyway, Ryder hits the Zack Attack for the win.
Match 3: Chavito against the troll
This match is entertaining because its funny. Horny kicks Chavo’s ass for a little bit at the beginning and Chavo scurries out of the ring. Upon walking up the stairs on his knees and reentering the ring, Chavo dominates the “little person.” Hornswoggle bites Chavo and hits the Tadpole Splash for the win. This is getting rediculous!!!
Alrighty then. Join me again next week for another riveting episode of WWE Superstars. PEACE!!!
