While Mike Adamle is away, Chris Jericho will play, as he’s been picked to be the GM of the night as Mike Adamle is off meeting with Shane and Stephanie McMahon. What kind of chaos will the World Heavyweight Champion bring to the table tonight? We’ll find out!
It’s the 800th episode of Monday Night RAW! Confirmed for tonight’s show, Miz and Morrison take on Cryme Tyme, Evan Bourne takes on Kane, and Beth Phoenix takes on Kelly Kelly.

Just wanted to give you guys a quick reminder that WWE Monday Night RAW is on at 9PM on the Sci-Fi network tonight. Confirmed matches for tonight include Batista taking on Kane, CM Punk taking on JBL, Santino Marella defending the Intercontinental Championship against Kofi Kingston, and Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix taking on Kelly Kelly. Also confirmed for tonight is a live appearance by Shawn Michaels. So don’t forget, RAW is LIVE on the Sci-Fi network tonight at 9PM, with a replay on USA at 11PM.
RAW is in CM Punk’s hometown of Chicago the night after SummerSlam, and I get to watch RAW in HD for the first time as my cable company has given me USA HD for just two weeks during the Olympics!
This review of Monday Night RAW on BoredWrestlingFan.com is dedicated to the memory of reader JT’s cat, Bandit (1995-2008). Tonight’s episode features a rematch for the World Tag Team Championship, as Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase try to win back their titles from John Cena and Batista. JBL has a challenge for CM Punk that Punk “can’t win,” and GM Mike Adamle says we’re going to find out what’s in Kane’s bag.
I almost didn’t do a podcast this week, but Mike Adamle being the new General Manager of Monday Night RAW was just too much to resist talking about. It’s a short one, clocking in at just over 33 minutes, so enjoy!
P.S.: I wanted to point out that I’ve taken some measures to make the site easier to read, but didn’t think it was worthy of putting into it’s own post, so I’m adding it on here. The current changes were suggested by Chris Coyier at CSS-Tricks.com.
