In this week’s episode I forego talking about Seth Rollins’ dick to instead talk about the NXT Takeover special that airs on the Network tonight. If you’re really that curious about my opinions on Seth Rollins’ dick then tune in to #CockTalk this Sunday at 2PM EST here on the website in the podcast section.
Joe, Jorge, G, Mark, and a particularly angry JT return for another week of BWF Radio! We touch on Old School RAW, talk IMPACT, and review SmackDown. We talk in depth about the WWE Network, including DirecTV’s reaction to the announcement, the value it presents to the consumers, and much more. Mae Young’s health is discussed. Ryback goes crazy on Twitter, we hear more rumors about Jeff Jarrett and Toby Keith’s supposed new promotion, and find out why Dusty Rhodes wasn’t a part of Old School RAW. A number of women’s wrestlers won’t be on upcoming shows for various reasons, including Paige being injured, and Kaitlyn leaving the company. All this, and cryptic tweets from Rowdy Roddy Piper. Tune in!
Oh the weather outside is frightful – so it’s a good day to stay inside for a podcast. With wind chill temperatures hovering around -30 Fahrenheit, Joe invited the BWF crew to join him on Skype, and Mark accepted, followed a little later by JT. The crew talk about Old School RAW, and it leads to discussions about Daniel Bryan, slow builds, and more. The talk turns to the returning Batista (“basketballs don’t hold grudges,”) and then to WWE 2K14 DLC, the last set of which is available today. Virgil’s career highlights are discussed, and comparisons are made between the heyday of Bruno Sammartino and today. Stay in, stay warm, grab a hot beverage and tune in!
Joe, Jorge, G, and Mark – that’s right, no JT this week (he’s off bumper bowling at Chuck E. Cheese) – bring you another great week of BoredWrestlingFan Radio, brought to you by hashtag ButtPlug. Joe has a ton of stuff crash down on him from above to start the show, leaving the left arrow key on his laptop as a casualty. The wrestling television programs get reviewed by the wrong guys, with Star Wars themed consequences. Joe tells us when to expect the WWE Network launch announcement, and it’s revealed that Chris Benoit will be shown on network programming, albeit with a disclaimer at the beginning of each show he’s featured in. We find out who The Undertaker has requested to face at WrestleMania. Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair are backing NFL teams you wouldn’t expect them to in this post season. JT checks in from Chuck E. Cheese (which he insists isn’t Chuck E. Cheese), Rowdy Rodimus joins us via our Ustream chat box (and you can too, every Sunday LIVE at 2PM Eastern!), and Jorge leaves early for “band practice.” Tune in!
Jorge returns and… the show goes less than two hours?!? Yes folks, Joe, JT, G, Jorge, and Mark return to tell you all about the wonderful week that was in professional wrestling, including RAW, IMPACT, and SmackDown reviews and all the latest professional wrestling news. Will Brock Lesnar return for one more UFC fight? Cowboy James Storm talks about Wildcat Chris Harris’ run in WWE as Braden Walker. Mark Henry talks about Kizarny – the gimmick, anyway. Samoa Joe may or may not be welcome back to ROH if he chose to return. Ricardo Rodriguez is the new Heath Slater? All this, and much more on BWF Radio Episode 106!
This. This is what happens when Joe actually prepares for a show. Disaster strikes. Jorge didn’t show up, and I accidentally leaned on something, which shut down the entire show for a few minutes, including our Ustream feed. But that’s not to say the show was a total loss. Joe, JT, G, and Mark discuss the TLC Pay-Per-View and get through the RAW recap before jumping into a discussion about all of the RAW guest hosts, and confusing Perez Hilton for Paris Hilton. After the break, Doc Knight of Original Stampede Wrestling joins us to talk about upcoming events, including tomorrow night’s super sold-out “Taco or No Taco” exhibition in Calgary. A brief bit of BWF Theatre leads us into the news, where we debate whether AJ’s outburst at Michelle Beadle was real or scripted, who’s staying home while Madison Rayne returns to Europe with the TNA roster, and get Jake Roberts’ thoughts on Bray Wyatt. Jimmy Hart talks WWE Legends House. G confirms whether or not you’re allowed to say a certain word in Canada. Find out why a Saudi Arabian journalist doesn’t want WWE or John Cena to come to his country. And what has Mistico been up to since Hunico started playing Sin Cara on RAW? All this and much more on a Christmas filled episode of BWF Radio!

The Slammy Award Winning ThinkSoJoE, JT, G, and Jorge are joined by Hornsby of BotchedSpot.com to present this year’s BoredWrestlingFan Awards! Joe brags about his Slammy Award win from last Monday (Best Crowd), and the usual crew (minus Mark, who took the day off) give their take on a select few Slammy winners. They give their TLC picks for tonight’s WWE PPV, and are joined by Hornsby in hour number two to decide this year’s BWF Award winners. Join us for such categories as “Aksana Award for Worst Wrestler of the Year,” “The Claire Lynch Award for Worst Storyline of the Year,” and “The Mike Rickard Award for Wrestling’s Greatest Moment.” Tune in!
Joe and Jorge seem preoccupied with their upcoming DDP Yoga session, and JT is all about the snow falling in an NFL game. G tries to steer everybody on track but gets abducted by Charles Barkley, leaving Mark to fend for himself. Ok, that doesn’t really happen. Joe reads Mark’s RAW review, we gloss over IMPACT, and G reads his own SmackDown review. In the news, we find out just who everybody is working for in the WWE. Stephanie McMahon sells more stock, and CM Punk ponders if his business is trapped behind a bad app. We talk about tomorrow night’s Slammy Awards and next week’s BWF Awards. We welcome back Michael Hayes to the WWE Creative team (we’ll drink to that!). We learn the digital whereabouts of Evan Karagias, and find out why WWE might be in the IMPACT Zone very soon. All this, and much, much more on BWF Radio 103! Tune in!
This is exactly what Jorge will look like when he’s doing RWR tomorrow night.
This week, the crew discuss independent wrestling, as Joe and Jorge recount their experience at Empire State Wrestling’s “WrestleBash” event. Joe, Jorge, JT, G, and Mark are joined by Topher of ProWrestlingPowerhouse, and unexpectedly by Doc Knight and KATANA from Original Stampede Wrestling. We cover most of wrestling television from the week, discuss the lack of continuity in the Brie Bella/Daniel Bryan WWE television relationship, and ponder the absurdity that was the Michael Strahan/Titus O’Neil/Miz segment from RAW. In the news, are the WWE and World Heavyweight Championships really being unified? What did Matt Hardy think of RAW? Where is AJ Styles going next? And more importantly, how is The Dynamite Kid doing after his recent strokes? All these questions are answered to the best of our ability on BWF Radio! Tune in!
Buffalo, NY based Country-Punk artist Andrew J Reimers guest hosts with the crew as G leaves early to secretly go turkey hunting, since he knows this is the real Thanksgiving coming up. Joe, Jorge, JT, Mark, and Andrew cover this week in wrestling television. For our break song, Andrew performs his ode to being a Buffalo Bills fan, “Four Years In A Row.” In the news, Dixie Carter claims Panda Energy hasn’t financed TNA in quite a while, WWE kills “Classics On Demand,” and MVP says “all options are open.” WWE pays tribute to the late Maurice “Mad Dog” Vachon. A front row WrestleMania ticket will cost you how much on StubHub? We reveal Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards’ NXT names, and a former Buffalo Bills player checks out the WWE Performance Center, and much more. Andrew performs the old country-wrasslin’ classic “With My Baby Tonight” to close out the show. Tune in!
