  1. RAW is Rock

Tonight marks the return of one of the greatest things to ever happen to RAW.  That’s right, ThinkSoJoE is here with a RAW review!  Oh, and that dude that makes those movies is on the actual show.  You know the guy.  He does that eyebrow thing.  Anyways, Justin Ruff was having issues with his satellite feed, so I’m here to cover for him.  Enjoy!

  2. Wrestling Classics: Gene Kiniski’s Final Match feat. Chris Jericho and Lance Storm: 20 Years Today

Twenty years ago today, on February 25th, 1992, Gene Kiniski’s final appearance in the ring occurred in Winnipeg, Canada for the West Four Wrestling Alliance (WFWA) promotion. Kiniski would perform in four matches on the card. The fourth, and final bout, was a three man tag team match with Kiniski’s partners being a young Chris Jericho and Lance Storm. Their opponents were “Bulldog” Bob Brown, “Champagne” Gerry Morrow, and The Natural. “The Natural” went on to be known as Don Callis (a.k.a. The Jackel and Cyrus).

  3. Smackdown 02/21/12

Well, it’s Friday, and you know what….. wait… what? It’s Tuesday? Damn! I was really hoping it was the weekend. Sadly, it’s also the Battle of Alberta tonight as my Edmonton Oilers face the Calgary Flames. While I enjoyed the PPV on Sunday, my patience will be short for this episode since I am more inclined to watch hockey. My DVR says that Randy Orton is scheduled to face Daniel Bryan tonight. Really? Alright, let’s just hop to it, shall we?

  4. Smackdown 02/17/12: Orton’s been replaced, “Oh You Didn’t Know?”

Let’s skip the intro crap, and we begin with clips of the Big Show/Orton match from RAW. Orton was concussed and is being pulled from this Sunday’s Elimination Chamber match up. So our go home Smackdown will serve to find his replacement in a Battle Royal. Teddy Long confirms the stoic faced Orton kayfabe, but it’s all legit too. So sell me on the PPV WWE, I wouldn’t have shilled out the money for Orton anyways. BTW, if you somehow didn’t hear the announcement WWE made themselves on their own website, I’ll save the spoiler for after the jump as I run down this episode of Smackdown…

Yeah, it’s Friday. Go to hell Rebecca Black. So I’m here to talk about Smackdown, and stuff. That’s how I roll. Let’s just get to it, shall we? Hey, it might be really good!

  6. BWF Radio 10: Pintnoir and G form the Wolfpack

It’s Sunday, and you know that means it’s time for another installment of Bored Wrestling Fan Radio. This week was a little different than our regular format. ThinkSoJoE was kidnapped, and duct-taped to a chair by Stone Cold Steve Austin, J.T. tore his quad walking across the ring, and DrowGoddess turned face in Toronto facing the Rock. Since Vince McMahon never bothered to ressurect the Wolfpack, Pintnoir and myself did one better. We made the show happen. I’m not sure which of us is Sting or Scott Steiner, but I assure you, neither of us are Buff Bagwell.

This week we discussed the results of the Royal Rumble, RAW, Impact Wrestling, and Smackdown. We took time to focus on the little things while going through the results, addressing some issues that have bothered or pleased us during the week.

  7. G’s Almost Stampede Wrestling Classic…

Why “almost” you ask? This stems from the fact that the two involved indeed cut their teeth in the Hart Dungeon, but Stampede Wrestling was inactive at the time of this match.

On February 4th, 1994, Lionheart Chris Jericho would square off against Lance Storm in a ladder match for the Mid-Heavyweight title.

  8. Smackdown: 02/03/12. Yes, Natalya Has a Farting Gimmick Now…

Last weekend was a whirlwind of activity for this G guy. With the Royal Rumble being the highlight, or so I thought, to cap off a content filled Saturday and Sunday, expectations were high. Did the Rumble deliver? Hrmmm… not so much, but I’ll get to that this week with the BWF Radio Crew on Sunday. Until then, let’s see how the outcome of the PPV affected Smackdown this week, shall we?

I’ll even throw in the Power Poll just for fun. If anyone reading this wants to participate and write for the BWF and/or WPO, this democratic multi-site ranking position is currently available. Toss a message in the comments if you are interested.

And even though it was kind of a depressing Rumble, we did get this.

Ring Ka King, or sometimes referred to as Ra Ka King, has posted their first episode on Colors TV. This venture began by TNA late last year. One of the men behind this show, is David Lagana former WWE writer and founder of the IWantWrestling phenom website that breathed new life into the IWC… until he had to stop that project to take on this one. The venture includes a number of contracted TNA Impact Wrestling performers, as well as some familiar faces like Chavo Guerrero, Chris Master, Sonjay Dutt, and Nick Dinsmore. Thanks to the magical powers of the interwebs, Bored Wrestling Fan will hook you up with a legal way to watch it… Video after the jump.

  10. Smackdown 01/28/12: Royal Rumblings…

Oh man… so stoked… The Royal Rumble is this Sunday, and tonight’s Smackdown is the last show before the best event of the year. Let’s just skip the crap, and see what the WWE has in store to build on their final show towards this magnificent event, shall we?

One more thing… 1993, January 27… we lost one of the most notable professional wrestlers of all time. I’m going to grab a cold one in his honour, and hope you do too…
