Once again, the Canadian carrier of Smackdown has dropped the ball. Or fumbled it. Either way, this did not air on Friday in lieu of a random college football game. This article may or may not have gone up on Friday as well. Who can know? Not me, because this part of the review was written on Friday morning. Put on your time-travelling boots, folks. Let’s see what happens…. (more…)
So the WWE thought it would be funny to make me work on a Tuesday. Bastards. Ha ha ha. You happy now, Vince? Jerk. Anyways, the last time we did this Halo 4 came out and a new president was elected. Something tells me that won’t happen tonight. But what did happen TODAY was that I made an appearance on Rational Wrestling Review representing the BWF. We spoke about the awesome TLC PPV last Sunday and the Slammy themed RAW last night. Let’s see what the hell happens on Smackdown tonight. Thank you Sky TV for being streamed illegally for my viewing pleasure.
So that’s where Christian has been. Drinking beer in the woods. Now I get it.
Fucked up news week. Toronto monkey in a suit, Manny KO’d and lifeless for minutes, Bieber murder/castration plot, Syria, Egypt, Prank call gone horribly wrong… and sadly the mass shootings in an elementary school. 🙁 I’m kind of dejected to say the least (and battling a headcold from last week, still). Maybe some Smackdown can lift my spirits. (more…)
This week on BWF Radio, an update on the Chris Jericho interview, a preview of next week’s BWF Awards, and much more! We look at RAW, SmackDown, Impact, and other pro wrestling television. We talk Jeff Hardy on Ink Masters, and what his inner thoughts would have consisted of if they were aired on the episode. Tyler Recks has words on twitter about John Cena. The whereabouts of “Harold” from the Bryan/Kane anger management classes is revealed. We ponder who would have a reason to send William Regal death threats. We debate whether or not Undertaker’s streak should ever be broken, and we give you the latest on CM Punk’s condition, including a Tout from Dr. James Andrews. Tune in!
In honor of ThatDamnCC, this entire review will consist of one giant Youtube link to the RAW is War theme song. “Dribbel” for all! Well, maybe not so much. Our resident Kiwi is as bitter as I that the NHL can’t resolve this damn fucking lockout, he’s resumed to hating on Gretzky and denying Hull’s fluke goal. But we’re not here to talk hockey, it’s hopping time or something. I have a terrible head cold. Good times.
This week on BWF Radio, we drop a huge bombshell by announcing that later this week, the BWF Radio crew will be interviewing 11 time World Champion Chris Jericho! And of course, we talk about professional wrestling television and news for the week. The crew discusses the possibilities for the WrestleMania 29 main event, ponder the polls as Daniel Bryan questions whether or not he actually lost to Kane in the WWE RAWactive this week on RAW, CM Punk on Talking Dead, a possible angle for Sakamoto’s eventual return from development hell, and reveal that WWE is no longer obligated to stay away from TNA’s former talent, which leads Joe on a rant about the “WWE style” of wrestling. All this, and much, much more! Tune in!
After another week of wrestling television, including Survivor Series, the crew comes back to talk about it. Joe, G, JT, and Jorge all settle in to talk about this wonderful world of Sports Entertainment once again. News topics include Kaitlyn being arrested, when Fandango will be seen, how desperate Lex Luger must be for money, who the most beautiful person in the history of WWE has been, and a pissed off CM Punk wondering why his appearances on AMC’s Talking Dead and the Chicago Turkey Day parade were not promoted better. All this, and much more! Tune in!
Ahh… Black Friday Night Smackdown. There will be a ton of people not watching, even some that normally would. All six of them. So that just leaves me, the sole viewer of this program to review it for them.
It was a festive mood in the BoredWrestlingFan studio this afternoon as the crew celebrates 1 year on the air! ThinkSoJoE, JT,
Tom Lawlor shocks the world!
G, Jorge, and former regular co-host Drowgoddess are joined by Empire State Wrestling’s Brian DeVille and Frankie Feathers to talk this week in pro wrestling. We pose the question of who was offended by the CM Punk/Paul Heyman heart attack angle on RAW. We give our thoughts on the Survivor Series – in 1992 – as well as our predictions for this year’s show. Hall of Fame candidates are discussed, and our resident RAW reviewer, Rytman, chimes in via the mixlr comments toward the end of the show. Tune in!
