We open with highlights from Sunday’s “Against All Odds” pay-per-view. As Mike Tenay and Don West run down the evening’s card, they inform us that the first match of the night will be – pretty much the main event from the previous Sunday’s pay-per-view? Now that everyone who paid money to see “Against All Odds” feels like a complete idiot, and may well have just decided never to spend another cent on a TNA ppv, the announcers tout the wisdom of booking this match in light of the “controversy.” What controversy? Sting won the match and kept the title, clean as a whistle. Angle was mad afterwards. There was no controversy of any kind. Even so, on we go to:
Seriously. There really is a pay-per-view on Sunday. Tonight’s “Impact” is the go-home show. The question is, is it a home we want to go to? Let’s find out!
Sorry for two very late reviews in a row, peoples. Rough week in the world of hour-long one-way commutes and junior high-land. In any case, “Genesis” wasn’t really the steaming pile of excrement that so many people claim it was, particularly in light of all the walking wounded and missing due to injury that the company had to deal with at the last minute. Pretend you haven’t already gotten move-by-move reviews from a dozen other sites, and cross the line!
Rather than review the “Best of” show that aired on Spike TV, your Empress of “Impact” has decided to begin 2009 with a wish list for TNA. Many people have commented that this new year has to be better for TNA because it couldn’t possibly get any worse. Whether you personally believe that or not, I have compiled a list of ten things which TNA should make happen in order for 2009 to be their banner year. They are in no particular order.
Better late than never! Your Empress of “Impact” is here, largely because no one else will do it, to review TNA’s December pay-per-view offering, “Final Resolution.” Yes, I even paid for it. What do you want from me, I have my reasons. Or more precisely, my reason. 🙂 On paper, this show doesn’t look good. The “Feast or Fired” match concept is terrible, and the execution of the idea last year was even more so. Too many people in at least three of the scheduled matches. Was there an edict to include the entire roster in tonight’s show? In any case, we shall now take a deep breath, clear our collective minds, and find the nearest available line. Let’s cross it, peoples!
TNA iMPACT!

Tonight is the biggest show in the history of TNA’s Impact as TNA is on the road for the first time in its history for their weekly Impact show.
Yours truly wound up sleeping through TNA iMPACT last night. I think I’ve DVRed it, but I haven’t had a chance to watch it yet. That said, I didn’t want you guys to go without your TNA iMPACT stuff, so I’ve borrowed the results from ProWrestling.net
