  1. What’s in the bag?!? RAW 8/11/08

This review of Monday Night RAW on BoredWrestlingFan.com is dedicated to the memory of reader JT’s cat, Bandit (1995-2008).  Tonight’s episode features a rematch for the World Tag Team Championship, as Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase try to win back their titles from John Cena and Batista.  JBL has a challenge for CM Punk that Punk “can’t win,” and GM Mike Adamle says we’re going to find out what’s in Kane’s bag.

The Adamle era kicked off last night, and boy what a show it was.  I told you guys that I think Adamle is going to be great in his role as GM, and if last night was any indication, I’m right.  So without further adieu, you can get your RAW results and analysis after the jump!

  4. Speeding up the corporate ladder – RAW 7/28/08

Holy hell – I never expected the new RAW GM to be him!  I’m not going to post it up here though, if you don’t know who it is already.  I didn’t find out who the new RAW GM was until 7:30 this morning, and I’m going to make you wait just the same.  Meanwhile, RAW was pretty… interesting last night.  Michael Cole was in a match, was beaten up, replaced with Mike Adamle, and then later, JR joined Adamle and the King on commentary.  Kane and JBL got into it a few times, Cena and Batista almost went at it, and CM Punk took on William Regal, among other things.

The results, and my analysis after the jump!

  5. We’ll get it right eventually – RAW 7/21/08

Well, the end of the World Heavyweight Championship match at the Great American Bash left things a bit undecided between the World Champion CM Punk and his challenger, Batista.  So they had a rematch last night on RAW, with Punk saying “we’re going to keep doing it until we get it right,” or something along those lines.  Well, they still didn’t get it right, but I suppose I shouldn’t give away what happened just quite yet – after all, there was a whole show before that happened that I need to tell you about!

  6. WWE Great American Bash Results – 7/20/08

Well, the legend of NostraJOEmas went the way of the dinosaur last night.  I was only right on 50% of my predictions (including one that didn’t come up here, I picked Matt Hardy over Shelton Benjamin).  Some of the ones I got wrong didn’t really surprise me, but others did.  I wasn’t too thrilled with the PPV as a whole, though there were some bright spots, including the Shawn Michaels/Chris Jericho match.  To be fair though, I think I went into the show with high expectations after last month’s Night of Champions, and the month of great RAWs and SmackDowns afterwards.

My thoughts, and the show results, after the jump!

  7. Anarchy ensues – RAW, 7/14/08

RAW has been unpredictable as of late, which has been a very good thing.  However, I think it all stops next week.  The reason?  Shane and Stephanie announced on RAW tonight that if the superstars and crew can’t band together to make the show run smoothly, actions will be taken – and William Regal’s suspension via the wellness policy ends later this week.  I don’t expect them to make an announcement on WWE.com or at the bash, but I do expect an announcement at the start of RAW, much like the ones we’ve been getting over the last few weeks, re-instating William Regal as the RAW General Manager.  That said, tonight’s RAW was the craziest one in quite a while.  Despite the pleas from Shane and Stephanie McMahon, there was no order whatsoever in this show – and to quote DDP, that’s not a bad thing, it’s a good thing.  Where to begin?  Well, the beginning I suppose.
