Sixteen years later, he met Hulk Hogan on the eve of WrestleMania X-8. On December 9, 2013, he legitimately won a Slammy Award (Best Crowd of the Year). 1. Power Poll 10/27/10

Oops!  I forgot about the poll this week – so here’s the poll complete with commentary from Jason Mann of Wrestlespective! Power Poll No. 21 10/27/10 1.  Kane (Last week: 6) The champion of the world rises again to the top of the Power Poll after burying his brother alive. (See what I did there?) […]

  2. SmackDown 10/22/10

It’s the go home show before Bragging Rights – Does SmackDown Know the Enemy?  Indeed, it’s RAW, and tonight the Monday Night superstars invade the Blue Brand!  It’s Randy Orton vs. Kane in our Main Event tonight, and the two teams for Bragging Rights kick things off in the ring as Teddy Long presides over […]

  3. Power Poll 10/20/10

I haven’t been voting the last couple of weeks, for whatever reason, and I apologize for not getting the poll up here on BWF last week, but here we go with this week’s! 1. Wade Barrett (Last week: 1) Abusing his power over John Cena and The Nexus and utterly destroying the WWE Champion leaves […]

  4. Standing up for WWE

We here at BoredWrestlingFan.com don’t take ourselves too seriously when it comes to what we do.  We approach our articles and reviews with a lighthearted attitude and will often poke fun at wrestlers and wrestling organizations.  When I heard about the “Stand up for WWE” campaign, I knew I had to do something.  I had […]

  5. Power Poll 10/7/10

    1. Randy Orton (Last week: 1) The Viper continues to dominate the Power Poll with a victory over Sheamus in a grueling Hell In A Cell match to retain the WWE Championship  (My vote:  1) 2. Kane (2) The Devil’s Favorite Demon is also the Father of Destruction’s favorite son, as proven by Paul Bearer’s […]

  6. ThinkSoJoE’s Thoughts

It’s been a long three weeks without cable at the ThinkSoJoE household.  That’s three RAWs, the first SmackDown on SyFy, and after this Thursday, three iMPACTs that I missed – as they air, anyway.  What really bugs me is the fact that for the first time in years (if ever), I’m going to miss the […]

  7. Power Poll 9/29/10: Well, he urn-ed it!

Thank you, thank you, thank you to Jason Mann of Wrestlespective for using one of my favorite old Bobby Heenan jokes for the title of this week’s Power Poll.  Ready?  Here we go! Power Poll 9/29/10: Well, he urn-ed it! 1. Randy Orton (Last week: 1) The Viper has set a record for most weeks […]

  8. Power Poll 9/22/10: American Made

Power Poll 9/22/10 1. Randy Orton (Last week: 1) As if there were any question.  The Viper has been topping the Power Poll regularly without the WWE Championship, and now that he’s got the title he’s got to be unstoppable on this thing.  His show opening promo with Sheamus was one of very few highlights […]

  9. Power Poll 9/15/10: Honorable mention

Power Poll 9/15/10: Honorable mention (or ROH 1, TNA 0) ROH had its highest placement on the Power Poll yet, while TNA completely falls off the radar with Impact scurrying away from the NFL. But, not surprisingly, WWE dominated with familiar faces at the top. 1. Randy Orton (Last week: 1) WWE is going full-bore […]

  10. Empire State Wrestling: Overdrive 2010 results

September 11, 2010.  North Tonawanda, NY.  One year ago, Empire State Wrestling returned to existence with an event also titled Overdrive.  The event capped with the man known then as Mastiff, Will Calrissian, literally cracking his skull on the ring apron, as his partner, Chris Cooper, stole the victory – and the ESW Tag Team […]
