  1. The Underground Episodes 3 & 4: Wrestling You’re Not Watching, Except Also For Maybe NXT… or ROH…

In all fairness, I reviewed both of The Underground and NXT: Full Sail Series (or whatever they call it). And I never promised to review all of these shows… but I decided to at least give a little love to the best internet-only web-series about wrestling. This project deserves more recognition. It’s like a video game (e.g. Mortal Kombat) meets independent wrestling in cinematic form (e.g. Bloodsport). Kayfabe… and this series looks to go long down the stretch. Awesomeness TV is your hook up, and if this description sounds cool to you, you have like a 141 2/3rd chance of winning. Brief descriptions and videos after the jump… let’s hop to it, shall we?

This is not a meme. The dude’s name is “Jobs.” Gamer rage is awesome!

Bored Wrestling Fan is proud to present an interview with Kyle Davis of Metroplex Wrestling, and Pro Championship Wrestling. He took some time out of his day while watching a Texas Rangers game (our audio producer had Ghostbusters 2 on his television). Davis recounts his experience starting out volunteering during his high school days into his current role as a creative mind in the modern era of territory/independent wrestling.

He goes on to tackle a number of controversial topics related to him, as well as the state of wrestling in 2012. From baseball, to Jerry “The King” Lawler… From multiple ring personas, to why the story line aspect of wrestling being essential to garnering attention… From the Walking Dead, to his thoughts on heat he’s generated recently due to his comments, Davis holds nothing back in a candid interview conducted by Bored Wrestling Fan’s own Justin Ruff. This interview is a must-listen! We teased in on Sunday’s BWF Radio #18, and now it’s time to get to the real deal. It’s time to bring legitimacy back the professional wrestling.

  5. Future Endeavored

I had a longer post going through the recently released WWE and TNA talent. Thank you Firefox for crashing.

    Melina

    Be seeing you crazy train

Past history aside she was a talented wrestler in the top four in the WWE. Now her boyfriend is like a Dolphin in Shark infested water.

    Gail Kim

Back to TNA or new surroundings in ROH

Besides posting the past few weeks how the division needs more attention along with her eliminating herself during the Diva Battle Royal and commenting how no one seemed to notice. She technically quit, washing her hands of WWE.

    DH Smith

    Legacy Out!

He may have lacked a personality, but with work he could have at least been a wonderful mid card talent in the vein of his father.

    Vladimir Koslov

Monster Russian to Santino sidekick, back to Mother Russia we go.

From being the typical monster heel before being comedified, it looks like he won’t be terrorizing the likes of the Superstars

    Chris Masters

    Masterpiece no more

After his third attempt in the company this potential talent is now free to roam the independent wrestling circuit. So much for that supposed After-Mania push.

In TNA news, Amazing Red was released citing creative differences with the company. Basically the “Creative has nothing for you” differences

Potentially Puerto Rican Rey 2.0, wasted opportunity

I would also like to wish a 100th Happy birthday to the Late, Great Lucille Ball. Even after 60 years your show is still funny-

    1911-1989

    Pintnoir out!

Ladies and gentlemen, children of all ages… it’s time for a Celebration of Professional Wrestling. That’s right folks! The showcase of the immortals, WRESTLEMANIA, is just over a week away! In a conjoint assembly of marks, smarks, and fans alike, Bored Wrestling Fan and Wonderpod-Online staff have united to create a week long tribute to the art and performance that is professional wrestling. And while much of the content will be WWE related, this is not limited to the one promotion. It’s an acknowledgement to all federations and organizations, big or small.

  7. Empire State Wrestling 2/27/10

The alternate title for this article is “why independent wrestling is better than WWE and TNA.”  I just got back from Empire State Wrestling’s “Reckoning Day” event.  This is my fifth ESW event, and I’ve never been to a bad show.  This one featured a World Tag Team Championship match with the team of Famous – Will “Mastiff” Calrissian and Chris Cooper – defending against Brandon Thurston and Mike Radski, and a Casket Match for the ESW Championship as Kevin Grace defended against Ryot.

Photos, thoughts, and a half-assed results list, after the jump! (more…)
