  1. More RAW bonus content!

Alright, I’ll admit, I still haven’t had a chance to fire up the DVR.  I did actually take a moment to read Drowgoddess’s excellent review from last night, and I can give a little more detail of what didn’t make TV.  There wasn’t much that I didn’t mention last night, but here’s a few things – and something a little special, a BWF exclusive…

Before his match with Kofi Johns– er… Kingston, rather, Chris Jericho insulted the Buffalo fans and sports teams.  The fans chanted “YOU SUCK” at him, but Jericho says “I couldn’t possibly suck, because I’m not from Buffalo.”

Speaking of Buffalo’s sports teams, during the break after Kofi destroyed Orton’s car, while Orton was pouting about it in the ring, one of the Buffalo Bills offered him a tissue from the front row.

Jamie Noble got a little mic time, he said he’s just like the Buffalo Bills, and that when people tell him he’s too small, he points out how Doug Flutie had some NFL success.  I guess that was supposed to be an insult, but nobody in Buffalo has given a crap about Doug Flutie since he left.

The opening segment must have been boring.  A whole section of the video wall entrance thing fell asleep.

There’s always the joke to be made that Bob Holly should have came back as “Sparky Plugg” for the night with Kyle Busch and Joey Logano hosting, but fear not – Holly was indeed there, as evidenced by this photo:

Those DX glow sticks are $15 at the merch tables.  Despite the fact you can buy a package of glow sticks at the Dollar Tree for 1/15 of that cost.  Doesn’t stop people from buying them though.

And here’s something very special for you guys.  This is EXCLUSIVE to BoredWrestlingFan.com (though, I suppose that it’s property of World Wrestling Entertainment, and it will certainly be removed if I get a letter like the one Hornswoggle got last night).  This is the very end of the dark main event of last night’s show!

Well folks, this may be the only real-time you get out of me this week.  That doesn’t mean that there’s not going to be SmackDown coverage on Friday night, it just means that it’s not going to be live, as my hometown Buffalo Sabres open their season.  Anywho, tonight, it’s going to be CM Punk and Kofi Kingston returning to ECW to team with Evan Bourne and Ricky Ortiz to take on Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes, The Miz, and John Morrison.

ECW on SciFi is on the air!

Finlay & Tommy Dreamer def. Mike Knox & Jack Swagger when Finlay pinned Knox.

Mark Henry def. Jamie Noble via pinfall.

Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes, The Miz & John Morrison def.  CM Punk, Kofi Kingston, Evan Bourne & Ricky Ortiz when Morrison pinned Punk.

  4. We’ll get it right eventually – RAW 7/21/08

Well, the end of the World Heavyweight Championship match at the Great American Bash left things a bit undecided between the World Champion CM Punk and his challenger, Batista.  So they had a rematch last night on RAW, with Punk saying “we’re going to keep doing it until we get it right,” or something along those lines.  Well, they still didn’t get it right, but I suppose I shouldn’t give away what happened just quite yet – after all, there was a whole show before that happened that I need to tell you about!

  5. Anarchy ensues – RAW, 7/14/08

RAW has been unpredictable as of late, which has been a very good thing.  However, I think it all stops next week.  The reason?  Shane and Stephanie announced on RAW tonight that if the superstars and crew can’t band together to make the show run smoothly, actions will be taken – and William Regal’s suspension via the wellness policy ends later this week.  I don’t expect them to make an announcement on WWE.com or at the bash, but I do expect an announcement at the start of RAW, much like the ones we’ve been getting over the last few weeks, re-instating William Regal as the RAW General Manager.  That said, tonight’s RAW was the craziest one in quite a while.  Despite the pleas from Shane and Stephanie McMahon, there was no order whatsoever in this show – and to quote DDP, that’s not a bad thing, it’s a good thing.  Where to begin?  Well, the beginning I suppose.
