Last year, I did reviews of the first six WrestleMania events as part of WrestleMania week.  I complained a lot after that week about how bad WrestleMania V was.  This year, I’m picking up where I left off, with WrestleMania VII – and the best part about it is, I don’t have to buy the individual events, I can just pull them up on the WWE Network!  So, without further adieu, I review WrestleMania VII – Superstars and Stripes Forever!

    What a visual!

Cleveland Browns TE Gary Barnidge returns to the show to talk Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, and the WWE Network.  Jorge takes a week off.  Joe, JT, G, and Mark discuss the week in wrestling, possible ideas for surprise entrants to the Royal Rumble match, and advocate supporting your local indie promotion.  We pay our respects to the late, great Mae Young.  In the news, we talk Ultimate Warrior in the Hall of Fame, Ryback’s rants, and Ric Flair’s court troubles.  We discuss the differences between Kraft dinners in Canada as opposed to the US.  Mexico’s AAA promotion comes to the United States (I’m sure Zeb Colter is thrilled).  We learn potentially why Roddy Piper isn’t in WWE 2K14.  The crew play armchair booker for The Undertaker’s possible opponents at WrestleMania.  All this, and much, much more!  Tune in!

  7. WWE RAW 1/6/13 – OLD SCHOOL!

So, you guys know the deal – I usually watch 30 minutes of RAW, leave for work, and review the rest of this show in real time as I watch it.  Well, due to inclement weather here in Buffalo, I find myself sitting at home right now, having watched all but 30 minutes of RAW.  I went out to catch my bus to work, but although the local bus company insists that their buses were all running on time today, mine never showed up.  At the time I left, it was 11 degrees Fahrenheit with a wind chill of -20.  As I type this, it’s 1 with a wind chill of -32.  So, if you can’t tell, IT’S FUCKING COLD OUTSIDE!  So, I called my boss, told him I couldn’t make it in, then came home and watched the rest of Old School RAW.  Afterward, I did some DDP Yoga, so I’m here now to actually review the whole show.  Let’s go!

I watch 30 minutes of RAW, freeze my ass off waiting for a bus that never shows up, and then come home and watch the rest of RAW.  That’s how this particular RAW review works.   It’s only getting colder!

Joe, Jorge, G, and Mark – that’s right, no JT this week (he’s off bumper bowling at Chuck E. Cheese) – bring you another great week of BoredWrestlingFan Radio, brought to you by hashtag ButtPlug.  Joe has a ton of stuff crash down on him from above to start the show, leaving the left arrow key on his laptop as a casualty.  The wrestling television programs get reviewed by the wrong guys, with Star Wars themed consequences.  Joe tells us when to expect the WWE Network launch announcement, and it’s revealed that Chris Benoit will be shown on network programming, albeit with a disclaimer at the beginning of each show he’s featured in.  We find out who The Undertaker has requested to face at WrestleMania.  Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair are backing NFL teams you wouldn’t expect them to in this post season.  JT checks in from Chuck E. Cheese (which he insists isn’t Chuck E. Cheese), Rowdy Rodimus joins us via our Ustream chat box (and you can too, every Sunday LIVE at 2PM Eastern!), and Jorge leaves early for “band practice.”  Tune in!

    Interesting GIF this week, G.

The crew celebrate the site turning five the only way they know how – Cock talk!  Joe, Jorge, JT, and G talk about the week in wrestling and are joined via the social stream on Ustream by Rytman and the returning mysterious Mavenfan.  Raw is reviewed, Main Event is mentioned, Impact is investigated, and SmackDown is spoken about.  JT-G returns, and his vote for Rebecca Black’s “Friday” to be the break song is vetoed.  We find out Bret Hart’s thoughts on Owen not being in the WWE Hall of Fame, hear how James Storm is doing after his match at Slammiversary, and discover what caused Chris Sabin to bleed after Ultimate X.  Jeff and Karen Jarrett tweet their thoughts on Kurt Angle being the next inductee into the TNA Hall of Fame.  We discover what That Damn Double C would do with the Dolph Ziggler character if he were running things.  Scott Steiner wins the Dutch World Championship.  Mavenfan reveals himself to not be a him at all.  All this, and much, much more on BoredWrestlingFan Radio!
