Sixteen years later, he met Hulk Hogan on the eve of WrestleMania X-8. On December 9, 2013, he legitimately won a Slammy Award (Best Crowd of the Year). 1. More WWE Slammy Awards!

The fun doesn’t stop because RAW is over, no sir!  WWE.com awarded even more Slammys – let’s roll! Note:  I’m not sure at this point whether these actually count or not.  We’re going to pretend they do. Outstanding Achievement in Muppet Resemblance:  Sheamus and Beaker. If these count, this is Sheamus’s third Slammy.  His previous […]

  2. WWE RAW 12/12/11 – The Slammys!

Well, Justin Ruff may not be an awards show kind of guy, but I absolutely LOVE the Slammys!  Luckily, I happened to have written a half-assed recap of RAW to use as reference for next Sunday’s episode of BWF Radio, so I’ll add to it a little and use it as this week’s RAW review! […]

  3. BWF Radio Episode 4

No, you’re not here on the wrong day.  No, this is not a special edition.  We have officially moved BWF Radio to Sundays!  This week, the BWF Radio Crew talk about Impact and SmackDown, the attention span of the average wrestling viewer, whether WCW was the cause of titles being “hot-potatoed,”  and if Ring of […]

  4. BWF Radio Episode 3

Drowgoddess couldn’t connect.  The entire show got disconnected half way through.  Random ads started playing in the background.  JT and G were hearing double.  And when he went to upload the show after edits, ThinkSoJoE had no internet.  Yes folks, this episode of BWF Radio was plagued with technical difficulties straight from the start, but […]

  5. BWF Radio Episode 2

This week on BWF Radio, the crew discuss the decline of the Knockouts division, Daniel Bryan’s chances of successfully cashing in Money In The Bank, Hornswoggle’s chances of surviving the Battle Royal without Sheamus, Kofi Kingston bullying Michael Cole, subtle booking nuances, and much much more!  Right click and “save as” the link below to […]

  6. BWF Radio – Episode 1

It’s finally here – the weekly BoredWrestlingFan podcast, BWF Radio!  This week, Joe, JT, Drow, and G discuss Survivor Series, the burial of Awesome Truth by John Cena on Monday Night RAW, the mysterious disappearances of Jonah Hill and Brodus Clay, things TNA is doing right, the “IT BEGINS” viral video, Kane’s return, and WWE […]

  7. BWF Audio Roundtable: Survivor Series

Joe, Drow, JT, and G all gathered round the old roundtable to discuss the 2011 edition of Survivor Series.  We also revealed a huge site announcement during the podcast, so be sure to listen for that.  If I seem to hesitate mid-sentence at some point during this, it’s because my wife handed me my old […]

  8. BWF Survivor Series podcast tonight!

Hey folks, thinksojoe here, and I’ve got some fun news for you guys – that’s right, it’s time for our Survivor Series audio roundtable!  Look for it to be posted later on tonight, and listen closely during the podcast for a special announcement from the BWF crew!

  9. In defense of the WWE

It wasn’t that long ago.  Just a few weeks, actually.  I jumped right on this very website right after WWE RAW SuperShow to rant about how they ruined a perfectly entertaining show with the introduction of John Laurinaitis as the interim RAW General Manager.  Now, I’m right back here after what many are saying was […]

  10. ThinkSoJoE’s Thoughts – just stop already.

I’m almost at a complete loss of words over last night’s WWE RAW.  The beginning was great.  WWE proved that they could do a show with just four guys, and it would be a great show.  Then Vince McMahon came out, and from that point forward, WWE proved that they could do a terrible show […]
