1. Coming off of a great Extreme Rules PPV from WWE, ThinkSoJoE, G, and JT discuss the week in professional wrestling, including all the wrestling news that has come out this week.  We plug ROH Border Wars, discuss the Beastie Boys, and speculate on Sting and Goldust.  All this, and much, much more on this shout-out happy episode of BWF Radio!

    Little Jimmy in action!

  2. The power poll is a weekly poll conducted between a whole bunch of IWC sites, including ours, though we rarely – ok, never – vote anymore.  Here’s this week’s results!

    1. John Cena (NR)

The win over Brock Lesnar despite an injured arm is enough to catapult John Cena back into the Power Poll and knock Brock out of the number one position.

    2. Brock Lesnar (1)

The pain has arrived in the WWE as Lesnar injures Cena and Triple H in back to back nights, but have we seen the last of Lesnar?

    3. CM Punk (2)

The WWE Champion once again proves that he’s the best in the world by defeating Chris Jericho at Extreme Rules, but his Over The Limit opponent may have a claim to that title as well.

    4. Sheamus (6)

A grueling two out of three falls match at Extreme Rules with Daniel Bryan allowed the Celtic Warrior to prove that his WrestleMania win was no fluke.

    5. Daniel Bryan (NR)

Despite not regaining his World Heavyweight Championship at Extreme Rules, will the answer to the question, “Is Daniel Bryan the next WWE Champion” be “YES!?”

    6. Kofi Kingston & R-Truth (NR)

While the WWE might be holding off on making the t-shirts after the Air Boom fiasco, Kofi Kingston and R-Truth walked out of RAW with the WWE Tag Team Championships.

    7. Randy Orton (8)

After defeating the monster in a falls count anywhere match at Extreme Rules, has Orton gotten rid of his Kane nightmare for good?

    8. Cody Rhodes (NR)

It wasn’t the prettiest victory, but Cody Rhodes took back his Intercontinental Championship in a tables match at Extreme Rules to jump back into the Power Poll.

    9. Ryback (9)

Two may be better than one, but nine is equal to nine, and that’s where Ryback winds up once again this week.

    10. Layla (NR)

Were you expecting somebody else?  Layla returns at Extreme Rules to take the Divas Championship from Nikki Bella, then beats BOTH Bellas the next night on RAW, showing the twins the door in the process.

Fallen Out Of The Top 10:

Chris Jericho, Edge, Lord Tensai, Big Show, Nikki Bella

    (Last week’s Position)

  3. We open on a video of Eric Appreciation night and how the faces dumped him into a port-a-pottie leaving him covered in Shite.

Flair stands in the ring and gives us that rousing title line. I couldn’t help but crack up laughing when that was said then after calling out Hogan added this line after being asked to be a judge on GutCheck, “I love hangin around the kids” Gotta love Flair when he says those lines.

Knockout title match with Gail and Madison vs Brooke and Velvet, and I have to admit that Velvet is putting forth effort. ONLY one clothesline so far. I lied there was one more. Brooke Tessmacher who is still amazing me with her advancements beats Gail with her own move.

RVD comes out to brag about who he is…I fast forward. Then I see The two Robs in a match against Devon again no less. I fast forward.

Well while watching wrestling I must have picked up on a American Idol feed, The Gut Check Challenge judges Flair, Bruce Pritchard, and oh my god Al Snow who is doing more than breaking up fights with D’lo argue over Alex Silva who is vying for a TNA contract. Reality TV in wrestling I haven’t seen that since well the 90’s.

Hogan gasses up Anderson by making his match with Roode a NO DQ. Because you know he’s Hogan and he’s impartial while giving it to the heels this time.

Jeff and RVD have a match and I really don’t care. Fast Forward. Note: Why don’t I care? well lets see both wrestlers could cut a promo if there life depended on it. And secondly they both have a predetermined set of move that they perform in a perticular sequence that just looks stale after awhile. So NO.

RVD wins. there. Jeremy Borash is talking about his hatred for Eric then Bully Ray steps out to you know bully Borash.

Austin Aries comes out to not save Borash but to get in Ray’s face. A good segment where Ray gets in his cheap shot.

Six man tag, Daniels/Kazarian/Angle vs Styles/Magnus/Joe where they tease the reveal of the evidence on AJ. But you’ll have to wait till next week. Good Match with  the faces going over.

We have the results of the Gut Check Challenge and like a bad American Idol parody we find out that Alex Silva is getting a TNA contract.

Roode and Anderson match up and I actually care about this bout. Intense and just when Roode is going to put away Anderson, Hardy comes out only to get mic checked by Anderson who in turn gets blasted with the chair leading to a fisherman buster for the win.

Besides some painful spots TNA wasn’t that bad this week. Can’t wait for the AJ reveal.

  4. First off, Adam “MCA” Yauch of the Beastie Boys passed away. I don’t know about you, but I’m a huge fan. This really sucks. So since the WWE puts up their own memorium messages at the start of their shows, I am putting my own one up for the start of my reviews. He will be missed. I’m going on a B-Boy marathon this weekend.

You’ll never guess who shows up on Smackdown tonight! Oops…

Seriously, let’s just hop to it, shall we? My day was lame, started off with a flat tire, had to cancel my day gig, got the tire fixed while I watched The Avengers. At least the movie kicked some serious ass.

  5. Total Championship Wrestling Women’s Champion Ruthless Lala recently took time out of her day to chat with BoredWrestlingFan’s Justin Ruff.  In the controversial 31 minute interview, Lala talks about her career, her influences, the moment that made her want to be a wrestler, training with Lance Hoyt among others, comparisons to Kharma, and her relationship with Jazz and Rodney Mack.  Justin also asks Lala her thoughts on the state of women’s wrestling today, a question which prompts the response, “Oh God, you’re just trying to get me in more trouble,” before she answers.  This is the most controversial interview thusfar on BoredWrestlingFan.com, and believe me, you do not want to miss this one.  Click the link to listen!

BWF Interview: Ruthless Lala (MP3 Format, 31:07)

  6. Wow, what a crazy week in pro wrestling!  ThinkSoJoE, G, and JT run down RAW, IMPACT, and SmackDown for the week and predict Extreme Rules.  Justin Ruff’s controversial interview with Texas women’s wrestler Ruthless Lala (which will be available tomorrow afternoon) is previewed.  Then the crew discuss the insane week of news in this wacky world of sports entertainment, from Rey Mysterio getting sixty days for a wellness policy violation, to Buff Bagwell’s horrific car accident.  Plus, all the craziness surrounding last night’s Extreme Reunion show, including Sabu being found “unresponsive” and Justin Credible being kicked out.  You don’t want to miss this episode of BoredWrestlingFan Radio!  Click the link!

    BoredWrestlingFan Radio Episode 20 (MP3, 1:53:51)

UPDATE:  Sabu has checked himself out of the hospital, is telling people he’s “fine;”  Buff Bagwell’s doctors are “shocked” by his recovery.

  7. Welcome to the Power Poll for another week!

    1. Brock Lesnar (3)

If this week’s poll is any indication, wrestling fans want to see announcers get beat up and wrestlers demanding things from the General Manager.  Brock Lesnar returns to the top.

    2. CM Punk (1)

They also love fake sobriety tests, apparently.  Though I have to admit, CM Punk was EPIC during this segment.  He still flubbed saying the alphabet backwards though.

    3. Chris Jericho (NR)

Chris Jericho returns to action, defeating Kofi Kingston on RAW and setting up said fake sobriety test.  I’m sure it was the great match that sent Jericho back into the top 10.

    4. Edge (NR)

Want to get into the top 5 on the Power Poll?  Go away for a while then come back.  The voters here LOVE a great comeback.  Hence, Brock Lesnar being in the top 3 every week since he’s been back.  Edge came to RAW to talk sense into John Cena, and he’s sitting at number 4.

    5. Lord Tensai (2)

Lord Tensai dominates R-Truth, but fails to continue his Power Poll dominance, dropping 3 to number 5.

    6. Sheamus (4)

The World Heavyweight Champion wins in a six-man on SmackDown (the SmackDown that counts towards these is LAST WEEK’s), but loses ground as he’s screwed over, then forced to tap out, by Daniel Bryan.

    7. Big Show (10)

Show picked up the victory for his team in said six-man, then picked up the win for his team in a tag match on RAW.

    8. Randy Orton (NR)

The Viper didn’t do much of note on SmackDown, but came to RAW, kidnapped Kane’s father Paul Bearer, and then sent the Big Red Monster fleeing through the crowd.

    9. Ryback (9)

Arrive.  Squash Jobber.  Leave.  A holding pattern for Ryback on both SmackDown and the Power Poll.

    10. Nikki Bella (NR)

The new WWE Divas Champion rounds out the Power Poll for this week.

Fallen Out Of The Top 10:
Daniel Bryan, Santino Marella, Bobby Rhoode, Brodus Clay

    (Last week’s Position)

  8. Just as we kick off the show, we learn that Josh Matthews will not be with us since he was murdered by Brock Lesnar on Monday NIght RAW. So it’s just Cole and Booker on commentary…. I debate hitting mute… Ok, let’s just hop to this, shall we?

  9. So after last weeks announcement of TNA doing a Open Fight Night where anyone can challenge the champion of their choice, minus of course the KO Tag champs because that belt is now in possession of the comedic duo of Eric Young and ODB. What made it also extra interesting when announced was now they were doing the Gut Check Challenge on Impact, I couldn’t wait. Hogan started off the proceedings strong with him going around with the respective champs in drill sargent fashion and in perticular Bobby Roode. I was excited at what was in store.

    Right before deflation

And then Jeremy Borash came out to challenge a man who should not be there. Eric B****** who name gets conveniently bleeped when said. Borash is the first to issue an open challenge and its against another non wrestler?

Bully Ray comes out and attacks Borash setting him up to be pinned by B******* who is attempting to get one last heel heat attempt before vanishing from television.

Devon defends his title. Which is nice considering he is the television champion. Who does he challenge? His former partner Bully Ray, I was smelling a rekindled feud coming right before Devon beat him but there is still hope.

Chavo on Helium or as he likes to be called Anarquia calls out an American and gets Kurt Angle. So seeing how neews has been running rampant about Anarquia being removed from the TNA roster page I see this as his farewell match which in typical fashion sees him getting embarasseed on the way out. I will not be missing Chavo lite.

NEw Prospect Alex Silva is announced for the Gut check challenge to take on Robbie ? yeah he loses. Not the best way to present prospects putting them up against comic parody relief.

WHy am I here? Just because

Tessmacher challenges and then pins Gail Kim, Nuff said. Finally a fresh feud with an actual knockout who I can root for who’s name doesn’t start with a V. Non title match.

tessmacher I love you boyfriend and your wrestling too.

A three way tag team is turned into a one on one event when Daniels and Kaz are told to leave. Samoa Joe picks up a win on Anderson after him and his partner where reinacting a broken home scenario in the ring. Daniels and Kaz attack and we finally have another team added to the tag division now just get two more to make it interesting. How about TMDK from OVW, think about it TNA.

    the mighty don't kneel

And to close the show why not bring the man who you’ve kicked off the show back for one finally bow. Eric and his wrestlers from Lockdown come out and fight with Garett Bischoff and his wrestlers resulting in E. B******* ending up covered in shit  poop I mean poop have to keep the language down my daughter is watching me type.

What do I think of the first OFN, eh could of been better with more emphasize on bringing out better matches instead of having this Eric going away party thrown by his former arch enemy Ric Flair. But hopefully next month it will be taken more seriously and lets not have the GutCheck Challenge opponent take on Robbie E.

    Pintnoir out.
