  2. Russo steps down!

This is all over the inter-web. Being covered by all the wrestling sites as the sign that after BFG, a new era is possible. Russo steps down from being Head of Creative and gives the job to Bruce Pritchard who took over for talent relations earlier from Terry Taylor. This means we might actually have coherent story without the mass amount of interference and if it sticks to the wall swerves. Possibly we could have an actual wrestling program that actually makes sense.

2012 must be the end of the world because this news is too good.

Sorry it’s so late, peeps. Between the job hunt showing no sign of ending, Veteran’s Day (my dad is a veteran), and my friends having their first baby Veteran’s Day morning, I’ve been stretched a bit thin. Benjamin Barker Edgecomb has now joined the world of pro wrestling fans (Hey, both parents are wrestling fans, so this kid isn’t getting away from it!), and if you catch the reference there, you win. At life. 😛 (more…)

    Mark Henry vs Primo

Mark Henry gets the win in a quick one.

    Gail Kim vs Jillian Hall

Gail Kim gets the win in this random divas match that nobody really cares about.

Co-Women’s Champion Michelle McCool vs Tiffany

McCool gets the win here in yet another divas match on Superstars.

    Chavo Guerrero vs Christian

This match was halted mid match by Vickie, who restarted this as a handicap match.

Chavo Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler vs Christian

Dolph gets the pin after he hit the Zig Zag on Christian.  Christian is doing a great job of building Ziggler, but he should be headlining PPVs by now.  Come on, Vince!  Give Captain Charisma a title run.

That’s it for this week.  Peace out.

  5. WrestleMania XXVI – LIVE and in living colour.

Welcome, welcome, welcome. When the big events come, they call in the big guns. The Howard Finkel of BWF, if you will. I’m back, for my first appearance since Jan 4th. See? What’d I say about Big Time events? With superstars like Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart, Shawn Michaels, Triple H and the Undertaker appearing, you’d think it was 1997. But, it’s 2010, and we are LIVE from Phoenix, Arizona.

Tune in, after the turn, for LIVE, unedited, uncensored, and Pro-HBK coverage of WrestleMania XXVI. Oh, and a quick note for Jack Korpela. Why do you have a job?

Hey everybody!  It’s nice to see you again.  The NCAA tournament has been captivating my attention the last couple of weeks, so here are some quick results for you to munch on.

CM Punk beat JTG in about 4 minutes

Punk pretty much squashed JTG here.  The question I have is why did they use JTG and not some other enhancement talent that only has a job for being an enhancement talent, like…..Chavo Guerrero.  It was a supershow, so he was definitely available.

Rey Mysterio defeated Tyson Kidd in a much longer and much more entertaining match.

This was a very nice back and forth match.  Kidd showed off what he can do, and hopefully we get more of these matches down the line.  I like seeing the “cruiserweights” go at it from time to time.

Remember everybody, Wrestle Mania 26 is this Sunday.

That’s right, Bob Barker is hosting WWE RAW tonight – which is the only reason I’m even bothering to write RAW results tonight.  Don’t know what else is going on, and I don’t really care.  Come on down, you’re the next contestant on the Wrestling Fan is Bored!

Well, I decided to do a podcast this week after all.  I’ve also decided that I’m not going to the Vans’ Warped Tour either, mostly because I can’t afford to.  So that means your iMPACT review will be up tomorrow.  This week’s podcast clocks in at just over 40 minutes, it’s some quick thoughts on the past week worth of shows, and a long winded rant about why ECW now officially needs to change it’s name.

Now would be a good time, I suppose, to announce that I’m going to be doing more blog style posts in addition to the review posts – after the power comes back on at my place of employment.  Yes folks, it’s been seven weeks as of today and my job is still to just sit in the dark and tell people to go away.  Hopefully that will get fixed soon and I’ll be able to go back to a normal posting schedule around here.
