Hold on to your flagpoles, BoredWrestlingFan presents an interview with former WWE NXT star Derrick Bateman, now going by his real name, Michael Hutter. In the interview, Michael talks about his WWE release, what he’s doing now, and how it all began. “The USA Guy” gimmick that popped up on YouTube is discussed, as well as his stint on the fourth and redemption seasons of NXT. Also discussed are LeBron James, tear-away tights, and the new YouTube channel featuring Michael, Trent Baretta, Briley Pierce, and Percy Watson, “Funny Don’t Make Money.” All this and much, much more. Tune in!
It’s official. We’re moving. In an effort to make BoredWrestlingFan.com your central location for all things related to our site, including BWF Radio, we will be broadcasting the radio show live on Ustream as of this Sunday. There are many reasons for this, not the least of which is the ability to play the live broadcast directly from our site.
Ustream offers us the ability to broadcast our show to you live, for free. However, their content is ad supported. That is not something that we have any control over, nor do we make any money from these ads. We recommend you install an ad blocker if you are attempting to watch the show live so that you don’t miss anything.
We had a great run with Mixlr, and certainly recommend them to anybody looking to broadcast live audio. The only reason we’re leaving is because we want to add the live broadcast to our site without increasing our costs. It’s not that their costs are unreasonable, because they certainly aren’t. We just want to keep our costs down so that we don’t have to plaster our site with ads to keep it running.
Soon, we will embed the ustream player directly into the site, but until then, you can watch our show directly on our Ustream page.
Kamala is on Youtube discussing the charities that claim to be in place to help out older wrestlers and their health issues. Kamala has undergone two amputations of his feet, and has been unable to work as a result. Not just as a wrestler, but outside of the business as well. I am not going to editorialize here. Rather, I suggest you watch the video. He does call out most notably Dawn Marie’s Wrestling Rescue.
I do not know anything but what is shown is this video, however, I think it’s important as always to consider where you send any charitable donations. I’m poor too.
Until we hear otherwise, this is just one side of the story. Take some time to listen to a rare Kamala videocast on the topic.

No, you’re not here on the wrong day. No, this is not a special edition. We have officially moved BWF Radio to Sundays! This week, the BWF Radio Crew talk about Impact and SmackDown, the attention span of the average wrestling viewer, whether WCW was the cause of titles being “hot-potatoed,” and if Ring of Honor could eventually become a top national promotion on the level of WWE and TNA. Also, this week you can weigh in on our final question, “Which Pay Per View is the better value for your money this month” on our facebook page. Ready to listen? Right Click and Save the link below!
Greetings, all! Your friendly neighborhood Drowgoddess will now be providing you with reviews of the only hour of professional wrestling on Monday nights, Ring of Honor on HDNet!
Oh what a joyous day! Today is Martin Luther King, Jr. day, and it’s only fitting that tomorrow morning is the inauguration of the first black president in United States history, Barack Obama. I’m counting down the hours until Dubya is gone, but for our purposes today, that’s pretty irrelevant.
Today is also joyous for another reason – Mr. McMahon returns to Monday Night RAW! It’s fitting, perhaps, that the last time Mr. McMahon was on WWE television was also the last time I had to write a review of RAW the way I’m doing tonight – I’ll be writing most of it here at home, then finishing it once I get to work. For you early adopters of the BoredWrestlingFan brand of Sports Entertainment coverage, no, the power was never turned back on at my job – in fact, the place is now out of business. I started a new job doing exactly what I was doing before – sadly for less money.
Anyways, you’re not here to read about my life (I’ve got ThinkSoJoE’s Thoughts for that!), you’re here to read about Monday Night RAW! Fear not, loyal readers, the results are after the jump! (more…)
I figured since I just got done watching that I’d give a quick review. Sounds good? Yes, well here we go: (more…)
What’s up everyone, greetings from JTland! Time for some more randomness from inside my head. (more…)
