  1. The War On.. How To Be Prepared For Your First Day

I hear you say.. what the hell are you doing here? You don’t write columns about wrestling. Bugger off to some other website and write about crap no-one cares about. That may be true, however this time. It is about wrestling.. well not just wrestling, as you’ll see later on. However, this column is all about the art of selling yourself. Say you’re new to a workplace, or it’s your first day at school, and you want to let people know, just who you are. I will give you advice on how to do just that.. after the opening of course.

  2. The War On.. If I Can Be Serious For A Minute

    Cue the opening

I thought I’d get in before anyone else, and be serious.. if just for a moment. For those who missed, an ESPN program, entitled E:60, documented the life of Scott Hall, and his struggles with alcohol and drugs in his life. I’m sure if you’re a real wrestling fan (even old school guys like me), know about the troubles Scott Hall has had throughout. The following video linked below, is the E:60 presentation. E:60, is a ESPN documentary program, leaving no stone unturned. It’s almost like ESPN’s version of the History Channel so to speak, and their expose on Hall is just one of many stories that have been investigated well, and one of many that is of a more serious nature.

    The video is here.

  3. The War On.. Video Game o-Mania Part Deux, And Did I See A RAW Review On This Website?

Hello Bored Wrestling Fans! It is I, the one columnist on this site, who doesn’t actually write about wrestling, and had instead to talk about video games. Why? Well, chances are, if you are in fact a Bored Wrestling Fan, you play video games to occupy your time until all your favourite wrestling programmes come on TV. Programmmes like Sunday Night Heat, or that one-time show that USA put on at the end of 1999 called Eve Of Destruction. Anyways, before the video games talk commences, I’d better cue the opening of the show, but before I do that, I need to state the following: The following game reviews contain spoilers. If you don not wish to know what happens in the games reviewed, then don’t read the review. Although, you probably won’t read it anyway, but I’m just saying for the two of you still reading this right now.

  4. Smackdown: 09/23/11

Since my DVR selectively chose not to record Impact last night, I opted to give Smackdown a chance. Did it record? I hope so, but you wouldn’t be reading this sentence if it did not.

Probably the biggest story, or strongest, is that Mark Henry won the title from Orton last Sunday. It took him fifteen years to do it, and he has no inclination to accept praise from the fans. They never rooted for him before, so why should he care now? Let’s see how this episode unfolds, shall we?

  5. Impact Wrestling: 09/15/11.

Hot off the heels of a terrible turrible pay-per-view, Impact Wrestling returns to the airwaves to torment and torture us all. A few notables to consider coming off of that show, is that Angle retained and Sting is not your new champion. This means the Hogan/Sting debacle that should occur at Bound For Glory will not involve the belt. Of course, that is provided that Sting defeats Ric Flair tonight. If you’re wondering about the Bound For Glory tournament, it turns out that Bobby Roode is your winner. I’m not going to even bother to describe how badly TNA screwed up that thing… Let’s just get this crap over with.

  6. Impact Wrestling 09/01/11

Impact taped two episodes on the road in Huntsville, Alabama, this week. Tonight we will be watching the wrestlers perform outside of the Impact Zone, which should make for a hot crowd… one not as jaded, ignorant, or just those who like to chant nonsense to hear themselves. If nothing else, at least I can say I made one positive observation… let’s get to it, shall we?

  7. Dear @MATTHARDYBRAND

    Dear Matthew Moore Hardy,

Thank you for all the memories you have given your fans over the years.  Thank you for destroying your own body for the sake of entertaining us.  Thank you for everything.

I know I haven’t been the nicest person writing about Matt Hardy.  I’ve so often called you Fatt Lardy that I once considered starting @FATTLARDYBRAND on Twitter (the guy that’s running it has no affiliation with us, by the way).  I’m well aware of your abdominal issues that caused you to put on weight, and I’m well aware that when you got into TNA you busted your ass to get back into shape.  Hell, you earned our own G Hall’s respect enough for him to break his TNA iMPACT reviewing rules and stop calling you “Some Internet Guy.”  I respect you for that.

Recently, amid rumors of drug problems, you were suspended from TNA Wrestling.  You drove your car into a tree, allegedly under the influence of drugs.  Then you were fired from TNA Wrestling.  Matt, buddy, it’s not the end of the world.  People go through things like this, and most of them aren’t as beloved by so many people as Matt Hardy.  I saw your recent video, titled “Goodbye,” on YouTube.  Matt, whether that was a joke or if it was for real, I think you need serious professional help.  Your fans, and even those who don’t really care much for Matt Hardy the entertainer, are worried about you.  Please Matt, please seek help before it’s too late.

    Thank you for everything,
    -ThinkSoJoE

Wow, what a show. In the last little while Impact has managed to defy logic in many ways, from turning Mr. Anderson from face to heel like he’s a bouncing rubber ball… they’ve tossed the championship back and forth, and built up further the feud between Hulk “Can Barely Walk” Hogan and Heath Farley… and it looks like they’re pushing the greenest guy in the roster, Crimson, straight to the moon.

Sigh… Well at least we should get to see Eric Young fight Scott Baio tonight, right? Sorry, no.
