1. Hey hey, back online to watch me some NXT! This will be a little quick and dirty as I am pressed for time this week. Having to seek this out online proves to be an unavoidable annoyance. Not only has Roger’s fucked over Western Canada for The Network and watching NXT on TV, they also have the exclusive rights to FXX, so it’s not like I am just sitting around watching The Simpsons marathon either… because I can not watch it. Thanks Roger’s! Alright, enough complaining, let’s do this thing!

  2. RAW and Summerslam were good. That means that Impact will probably be shit. I’m watching it live on Wednesday and I hope other people were too.

It’s Hardcore Justice which A) sounds like a porno and B) is way too soon given how we just had Destination X.

Oh man, what a long and crazy week. I have really been looking forward to sitting down and watching the NXT recording on my DVR! Here, we go! Wow it looks like they really upgraded the Full Sail studios! Byron Saxton and Tom Phillips on commentary? What does that say on the ring apron? I squint…

Jim Cornette called in to the BoredWrestlingFan.com studios this week to talk about IHWE Old School Hustle, Sunday September 28th at the Cendera Center in Fort Worth, TX.  He tells us how he got involved with the promotion, and updates us on everything else he’s got coming up as well.  The conversation turns to Vince Russo and his involvement with the downfall of TNA Wrestling.  Jorge joins the conversation and we talk fast food and hear a story about the infamous Dairy Queen incident.  Tune in!

The AfterGLOW Fan Party! IMAGINE, FIRST TIME EVER IN HISTORY

It wasn’t that long ago that G.L.O.W. graced the television landscape with a unique product of professional wrestling… and the most significant promotion to feature an entirely all-female roster of wrestlers.

In it’s time and placLogoe, it was edgy, yet satirical and jam-packed full of action. It was unique. And it’s not often I can say that word in the world of professional wrestling. It stood out during a period of television programming that just made sense. The personalities were over-the-top… and it ended far too soon. Everything in G.L.O.W. just clicked.

While the WWF was giving us wrestlers with day jobs, GLOW was giving us superheroes. While the NWA was showing us what men could do without the satire, GLOW was also doing within that realm. LogoThey were doing both.

If you grew up watching shows like Married With Children, you got this show. If you grew up watching The Dave Chappelle Show, you understood what you were watching. If you are growing up now (never stop), you would have loved this show.  Seek it out if you missed out.

As a Bored Wrestling Fan, I think this event needs to happen. You have until August 31st to help them achieve a $5,000 goal. They are already almost there. Let’s put’em over the top, fellow BWF’ers.

Jorge and JT take the week off, so Joe, Mark, and G are left to talk about the week in professional wrestling.  Unfortunately, technical difficulties with the WiFi in the studio cause G and Mark to cut out several times.  Our live broadcast cut out several times as well, but our podcast came out fine!  When we were able to talk to each other, we talked about the shilling of the WWE Network, #ItHappens, and great matches on NXT, excluding Eva Marie’s performance against Bayley.  In the news, we speculate on what’s really going on with Alberto Del Rio’s release.  What happens to Impact, even if they’re renewed by Spike, if SmackDown moves back to Thursday?  We hear Vince Russo’s side of the Spike TV/TNA/Russo story.  All this and much more on BWF Radio!

  8. Better late than never, it’s NXT time. See, I live in Canada. NXT is normally on television here on Thursday, but for whatever reason, baseball needed to be on every single channel that day. So I caught it Saturday.
