1. Alrighty then.

IHWE Radio host Michael McCurdy joins Joe, Jorge, G, and Mark after JT leaves to talk about his podcast, WCCW, BlogTalkRadio, IHWE founder David Fuller, porn mail, and much more.  Not necessarily in that order.  We recap the week in professional wrestling.  In the news, we talk about the downfall of the WWE stock, and investigations into it.  We talk about the WWE Network and the actual number of subscribers needed to break even.  We talk about the contracts of Mick Foley, Bret Hart, Sting, and Kurt Angle.  Speaking of Mick Foley, we play his HUGE announcement from this past week.  All this, and much much more on BWF Radio!

  2. While I am fully aware of the leaked, unedited version of this week’s Smackdown, which has been circulating the interwebs since late Tuesday, this is not based on that version. Why put myself through more than I have to? Seriously? Plus fast-fowarding is much more trouble some.

  3. So.  Here’s an interesting predicament.  My computer is not currently allowing me to search Google.  So it might actually be somewhat difficult for me to find images to post in this review.  Apparently some jackass on the same wireless network I’m on was sending automated requests to Google which caused them to Ambrose “nope.”  So, let’s hope for the best!

I watch 30 minute of RAW then leave for work to watch the rest here and type up what happened, mostly so YOU don’t have to suffer through it yourself.  Aren’t you lucky to know me?

  4. That’s one way to learn. Vince is probably greatly depressed right now.

Jorge takes a day off, and Joe regails us with tales of his car crash and last night’s Empire State Wrestling event in Lockport, NY.  We run down the week in pro wrestling television, including Alicia Fox’s tantrum, Damien Sandow’s defiance, MVP’s heel turn, and The Shield’s beat down of Evolution and several lower card talents at once.  In the news, TNA may be having some financial issues, but could WWE be on the brink of destruction?  The crew throw out some dire theories on the future of WWE as the stock price continues to plummet.  Why did Harry Smith choke some guy out in Amsterdam?  What happened to Roman Reigns’ face?  What does Chris Masters have against Cesaro?  All this and more on this week’s episode of BWF Radio!

  5. Tonight’s episode comes on the heels of the WWE’s stock plummeting, Vince losing 1/3 of his value (and no longer a billionaire), a private investment firm buying significant shares (and demanding a change of executives), and a whole bunch of accusations of fraudulent actions with current stake holders. It’s probably way more interesting than anything on this show.

That moment you realize you have to watch and review Smackdown. Hop on this…

Ed: My laptop died this week, and I wasn’t even planning on doing this review… so I will likely skip more than usual.

  6. So.  You guys know how I usually do these – I watch two hours, drive to work, and watch the whole show just to remember what I watched to write it down here.  Well, I no longer drive to work – I dosed off behind the wheel and wrapped my car around a light post – and did just as much damage to the post as my totalled car.  I, however, am fine.  A few bruises and abrasions, but nothing a little OTC pain reliever won’t fix, should I feel bad enough to actually take that shit.  Oh well.  In the immortal words of Pink Floyd, the show must go on!

Ouch.  Ow.  Aaaaahhhh.  Oh man my ribs and knees hurt – yet nothing is actually damaged.  Oh well, screw it, let’s go.  Click the button.

  7. Maybe if Adam Rose and Zeb Colter did DDP Yoga they’d be able to tilt their heads that far…

On this episode of BWF Radio, JT proves that it’s not just our guests that have trouble getting through to the show.  G leaves early, but not before talking about the upcoming Original Stampede Wrestling event, “Taco or No Taco?”  Mark forgets about a fellow Brit, and Jorge…  well, we love Jorge (Simpsons reference!).  And Joe has to maintain order amongst them.  We talk WWE Extreme Rules, and all of the great wrestling television on for the week.  Brie Bella’s bad acting is discussed.  In the news, we talk about the whereabouts of Chris Sabin and Kaz.  We find out the depths of where the WWE stock has plummeted before discussing becoming shareholders ourselves.  We ponder whether or not you have to have an ACL before Kurt Angle can have surgery on his.  Dixie Carter puts her foot in her virtual mouth on Twitter again.  All this and much more, on BWF Radio Episode 125!
