1. You know, I kind of liked the way I did the RAW review last week.  I think, even though I only caught the first 30 before having to leave for work, that I’m going to do it the same way.  Watch a segment, then recap it.  Yeah, that works.

I watch 30 minutes of RAW.  Then I leave for work.  Then I watch the rest of RAW and review it here on the site.  And I change the way I do it whenever I feel like it.  Because this is my site and I can do that.  NWA Jr. Heavyweight Champion Chase Owens on BWF Radio this Sunday.

  2. Oh Shell Yeah!

If you’re ready for this week’s BoredWrestlingFan Radio, gimme a shell yeah!  Joe, JT, G, Jorge, and Mark are joined by the one and only Shark Boy to kick off the second half of the show.  We get the origin story of our favorite aquatic super hero, find out what he’s been up to lately, and learn how you can be trained by Shark Boy himself.  We learn how Shark Boy went Stone Cold, and Steve Austin’s thoughts on the gimmick.  All this and much more with Shark Boy!

But first, Joe recaps RAW, we play each other’s characters on SmackDown, and we talk about the highlights of this week’s Impact Wrestling.  We get a highlight package from the interview Joe conducted with Diamond Dallas Page this past week, and discuss the follies of Joe’s past interviews.

In the news, we find out why WWE stock has gone up, and what the injury to Curtis Axel is (according to That Damn Double C).  We find out what the already mustachioed Iron Sheik is doing for No-Shave November.  And we get news on the future for Roman Reigns, plus much, much more.  Tune in!

  3. Well here we go after coming off the heels of an epic Hell In A Cell ppv, well that’s what WWE will tell as they schill the replay, I still don’t know what happened. All I know is that Vacant got screwed, Sandow cashed in and lost, and Punk hit Heyman with a kendo stick to the balls so here’s the B-show fallout: (more…)

  4. He is the master of the Self High Five, the master of the Diamond Cutter, and if that ain’t got you all jacked up, he’s a three time WCW World Heavyweight Champion.  That’s not a bad thing – that’s a good thing!  Diamond Dallas Page was gracious enough to take time out of his busy schedule to sit down and chat with our own ThinkSoJoE via telephone.

On DDP Yoga:  “You never call DDP Yoga yoga,” explains Page.  “If they can bend over and pick up their keys, or change a light bulb, they can do the workout.”

On Ready To Rumble:  “I think Oliver (Platt) did a pretty decent job, ’cause he’s a great actor, but he wasn’t believable in that spot…  Kanyon made him look amazing in that movie.”

On David Arquette:  “There’s not a guy that you know, including yourself, that if they were put in that exact spot, who wouldn’t have done the same thing.”

On The Rock:  “What we should’ve done was the people’s champion vs. people’s champion match.  That would’ve been money.  As opposed to that stalker debacle.”

On Tony Robbins:  “That guy has so much energy.  Mind boggling energy.”

This is a great interview, one you don’t want to miss.  There is a whole lot more to this than what I’ve transcribed here, and for 43 minutes, Diamond Dallas Page entertains like only he can.  Tune in at the link below!

  5. Normally, I watch about 30 minutes of RAW before I have to leave for work, but Jorge graciously offered to drive me to work this evening.  As such, I watched most of RAW, and though I enjoyed most of what I saw this evening, I don’t want to sit through it all again.  So, what we’re going to do is, I’m going to give you the gist of what happened while I watched, in segments, with my thoughts.  Sound good?  No?  Too bad, that’s what we’re doing.

This is the part of the review that’s in italicized text that explains how the review works.  But since I did that in the previous paragraph, this is just here for aesthetic purposes.  So, let’s go.

  6. Let’s go Vacant!

This week, Joe, JT, G, Jorge, and Mark talk about the new WWE2K14 video game – and it turns into a 30 minute rant about video games, consoles, downloadable content, and bug fixes.  We get into the WWE Hell In A Cell Pay Per View, giving our picks, including Mark’s very serious pick that Joe will win the CM Punk vs. Ryback/Heyman match.  That Damn Double C infiltrates the news with references to different individuals penises.  Triple H is praised.  Or has heat.  Or something like that.  Eric Bischoff may or may not be gone from TNA.  Sunny wants you to pay her to talk on the phone.  Jim Ross doesn’t understand the product anymore – and quite frankly, neither do we.  All this, and G pulling for Vacant at tonight’s PPV, on BWF Radio Episode 97.  Tune in!

This week’s break song was “Go To Hell” by Alice Cooper.  Buy it here!

  7. Here it is, the groove slightly transformed, a little break from the norm as I take over the Smack down duties for G for (hopefully) few weeks as he goes Maple Syrup hunting or whatever they do in Canada this time of year.  Why you ask would I take such a daunting task as to fill the unfillable sheos of G?
