Well when it comes down to it there’s nothing like a good stiff drink with some good friends and some good food. But what isn’t fun is when you have the worst sinus infection and allergies at the same time. I was fortunate to experience all this in the same week, yay me. Last Sunday’s PPV, Sacrifice, merited little results of significance… except that Chyna might be back for more and Brayden Walker stole Matt Hardy’s fat gimmick. You can read more about the PPV at Pintnoir’s recap here. Pretty good review!
However, this week on the newly branded “iMPACT Wrestling,” where apparently wrestling matters, we will be treated to a new look iMPACT zone. As a result, the former TNA has made an effort to make the place look snazzy and showcase the change. Sure, this should have been done for the PPV, but realistically their buyrates have been so poor as of late, I’d imagine they didn’t bat an eyelash at the concept of rebranding the building in time.

The prosecution is ready, Your Honor.
Another week, another Smackdown… hopefully my apartment won’t pretend to burn down again this time? Guess what, the alarm went off early Monday morning as well! Right after drinking my face off at the Calgary Stampede into the wee hours… I live on the top floor of an apartment building, and lucky me, people have been working on repairs all week… it wouldn’t be so bad if I didn’t have a night job. So needless to say, I’ve gotten very little sleep this week. Let’s see if Smackdown can keep me awake… (more…)

Empire State Wrestling returned home to the St. Johnsburg Fire Hall in North Tonawanda, NY this past Saturday Night, and yours truly was in attendance. As usual, those ESW guys put on one hell of a show. Recap after the jump!
