Joe, G, and JT are joined this week by WrasslorMonkey from Wrestling With Text, Jonkind from Wonderpod Online, our very own Drowgoddess, and have audio sent in by “Professor Salmon and Zwan.”  This unique cast of characters spend the first hour giving their predictions and thoughts on tonight’s SummerSlam event from the WWE, and the second hour is spent, as usual, talking wrestling  news.  Topics of discussion this week include injuries to Yoshi Tatsu and Pope D’Angelo Dinero, reactions to Kevin Nash’s comments about Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit, A.W.’s continued ranting, JBL’s thoughts on wrestlers “stealing” moves, the Scooby Doo/WWE collaboration, Claire Lynch’s apparent TNA departure, and much, much more!

You can find our guests for this week’s show elsewhere on the interwebs.  Jonkind is around on Wonderpod-Online, Wrasslor Monkey runs Wrestling With Text, Professor Salmon runs the music blog Music Times Two and works for Original Stampede Wrestling, and Zwan is behind Ailean Environmental Ltd.

  2. Random Randomness

Well when it comes down to it there’s nothing like a good stiff drink with some good friends and some good food.  But what isn’t fun is when you have the worst sinus infection and allergies at the same time.  I was fortunate to experience all this in the same week, yay me.  But lots of drugs are helping me so I can give what I can this week: (more…)

  3. WWE Superstars Results

Match 1:  Primo Colon and Jillian vs Yoshi Tatsu and Gail Kim (Bella Twins are Special Guest Referees)

Gail Kim rolls up Jillian with a very quick count by one of the Bella’s.

Match 2: Zack Ryder vs Goldust

Zack Ryder doesn’t wear the half pants tonight, but instead just goes with the trunks.  Ryder gets the win with the Ruff Ryder.

    Masterlock Challenge:  The Dudebusters

First, Masters locked it on Croft, then he invited Baretta to take the challenge.  As Masters was about to lock it in on Baretta, Croft jumped in and The Dudebusters inflicted a little double team punishment on him.

Main Event:  LayCool vs Tiffany and Kelly Kelly

Really???  This is the main event?  Absolutely pathetic.  Layla gets the pin when Michelle McCool kicked Kelly Kelly in the face with the referee distracted by Tiffany.

  4. WWE Superstars

Hey, everybody! I hope you enjoyed Wrestlemania 26, but now its time for the WWE’s D show (maybe F show…I’m not sure if AM RAW beats Superstars in ratings or not.  I haven’t checked on that.)

Match 1:  Kofi Kingston and MVP vs Zack Ryder and Carlito

Kofi and MVP get the win after Kofi hits Carlito with the Trouble in Paradise.

Match 2:  William Regal vs Yoshi Tatsu

Yoshi gets the win with a kick to the head.

Match 3:  Hart Dynasty vs Caylon Croft and Trent Baretta (The Dudebusters)

Tyson Kidd forces Baretta to tap out with the Sharpshooter after hitting the Hart Attack.  Hopefully this will be the build for them to become Tag Champs

Alright, Peeps.  That’s it for this week.  It’s another random Superstars and thus another random results column.

    Peace out

  5. ECW 2/09/10

Welcome to the Penultimate Episode of ECW.

We open with everyone backstage and Tiffany gets everyone’s attention. Tiffany talks about ECW going off the air but says it’s “not a bad thing, it’s a good thing. Everyone’s a free agent so use the next two weeks to impress everyone in the WWE universe and have a good time. She puts on some Mardi Gras beads and grabs a drink. When Zack Ryder questions her about this, ECW’s going off the air and she’s just going to party? “Woo Woo Woo, You know it.”

Just wanted to give you the results for this weeks ECW program:

    1.  The Hurricane def. Paul Burchill

    2.  Shelton Benjamin & Sheamus def. Goldust & Yoshi Tatsu

    3.  Zack Ryder def. (insert random jobber name)

    4.  Vladmir Kozlov & Ezekiel Jackson def. Christian & Tommy Dreamer

Well there you have it your ECW results and in less than 100 words.

  7. ECW 8/11 and 8/19 results

It appears that everyone else has forgotten about the little one-hour show every Tuesday nights on Syfy called ECW, so I am here to catch you up.

    8/11 RESULTS

    Shelton Benjamin def. Zack Ryder

After last week’s actions in the Abraham Washington show between the two, it was Benjamin who got the win with the Pay Dirt.

Paul Birchill attacks Gregory Helms, accusing him of being the masked superhero who has been coming to the rescue in recent weeks.

Vladimir Kozlov def. Random Jobber #1

After Kozlov won, Ezekial Jackson also beat down Random Jobber, causing a staredown between the two.

Yoshi Tatsu def. Paul Birchill via DQ

Birchill’s valet, Katie-Lea got involved, causing the DQ. After the match, the Hurricane came to the ring and attacked Birchill.

Tyler Reks def. Random Jobber #2

    Not much to say, really.

On the Abraham Washington show, William Regal was announced as #1 contender for Christian’s ECW Championship. Nothing wrong with Regal being #1 contender, but someone should mute Abraham Washington.

    William Regal def. Tommy Dreamer

Dreamer, still suffering injuries from the Extreme Rules match with Christian the week previously, fell to the man from Blackpool, England.

    8/19 RESULTS

    The Hurricane def. Paul Birchill

In his first offical match back, the Hurricane is victorious after hitting the Eye Of The Hurricane.

The Abraham Washington show featured Goldust, and then Sheamus. Sheamus calls Goldust lucky for beating him on Superstars, a stare down followed.

    Zack Ryder def. Yoshi Tatsu

Ryder won after the Zack Attack. Does ECW have more than 10 guys on the roster?

ECW Champion Christian and Ezekial Jackson def. William Regal and Vladimir Kozlov by DQ

Dreamer was scheduled to be the Champ’s partner, but he was beat down by Regal and Kozlov earlier, so Christian chose Big Zeke, who proceeded to join Regal and Kozlov in a 3-on-1 assault on Christian.

That’s ECW all caught up. Tune in next week, for more ECW action.

  8. WWE Superstars review…3 days late

Alright my peeps.  I’m here.  I’m not dead.  I finally have a chance to watch the show from Thursday night.  Lets go.

Match 1:  Its-a-he Santino vs the Masterpiece Chris Masters

Santino’s face when Masters came out was priceless!  Santino tried to go Karate Kid on Masters, then did an acrabatic roll to the other side of the ring.  Once Masters got ahold of Santino, it was downhill from there for him.  For a little bit of humor (what else is Santino good for) he tried to apply the Masterlock on Chris Masters, only to get dominated again.  Masters wins with the Masterlock after Santino attempted to “Hulk-up.”

Match 2:  William Regal and Paul Burchill vs Tyler Reks and Yoshi Tatsu

My fiance totally marked out for Yoshi when he came out.  Match started out with Yoshi and Burchill.  Wouldn’t Burchill have fit better in ECW 3 years ago when he was Pirate Paul and when ECW was mainly a gimmick show?  Regal flips over an attempted springboard splash pin for the win over Tyler Reks.  Tyler Reks is awkward.  He looks like he has something stuck in his butt when he walks.

Video package with John Cena throwing out the first pitch at a Cubs game.

Main Event :  Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio vs Mike Knox

Mike Knox is severely under-utilized!  Dude is massive and burly.  Special guest commentator is Dolph Ziggler.  This is the typical Rey Mysterio match. He gets dominated the whole match by the much bigger opponent and then gets the win.  Rey hits the 619 and goes for the splash, only to have Dolph Ziggler pull him off the mat.  Rey gets the win via disqualification.

Santino was the only reason to watch this show, much like Raw.  There is a reason this show is on WGN…nobody wants to watch it.  Sometimes its good, sometimes its terrible, most of the time its random.  See ya next week.
