1. The BoredWrestlingFan.com crew got together earlier today to record their second ever audio roundtable.  Who does the crew think will win at the WWE’s biggest event of the summer?  What other matches do they expect to see?  Just who was the Anonymous RAW General Manager?  And which one of the BWF crew feels that they’re like Vince McMahon when it comes to Podcasts?  Only one way to find out – click the link below!

  2. I loved watching tag team wrestling as a kid as there were some amazing and entertaining tag teams in many territories. Teams like the Road Warriors, Can Am connection, Killer Bees, Nikolai Volkoff & The Iron Sheik and the Hart Foundation top my list of top tag teams from the past. However one tag team sits above them all, even the mighty Road Warriors, as my personal all time favorite team. That team is the British Bulldogs. By the time the British Bulldogs reached the WWF they had already competed along side and often against each other many times in classic Stamped Wrestlings encounters. While their popularity (and bodies) grew bigger and bigger in the WWF, I already had a strong admiration for them and knew just how talented they were. After an exciting title run in the WWF only to lose the titles ironically to yet another Stampede Wrestling alumni tag team by the name of the The Hart Foundation, Davey Boy and Dynamite soon went to Japan for a successful tour of the orient and finally returned, full circle, back to Stampede Wrestling. By this time the combination of steroid abuse and brutal back injuries were really taking a lot out of the Dynamite Kid both inside and outside the ring. The British Bulldogs days as a team were numbered. Davey Boy would soon embark on a successful singles career returning to the WWF, WCW and even back in Stampede upon occasion. Lets look at one of the last matches for this legendary tag team as they compete for the Stampede Tag Team belts held by the evil and chronically cheating Cuban Commandos! Its a ring-a-ding-dong-dandy! See you next week,. But,in the mean time and in between time, check out Wonderpod videogame podcast on itunes and also some of the other stuff I do over at www.wonderpodonline.com !

  3. I had a longer post going through the recently released WWE and TNA talent. Thank you Firefox for crashing.

    Melina

    Be seeing you crazy train

Past history aside she was a talented wrestler in the top four in the WWE. Now her boyfriend is like a Dolphin in Shark infested water.

    Gail Kim

Back to TNA or new surroundings in ROH

Besides posting the past few weeks how the division needs more attention along with her eliminating herself during the Diva Battle Royal and commenting how no one seemed to notice. She technically quit, washing her hands of WWE.

    DH Smith

    Legacy Out!

He may have lacked a personality, but with work he could have at least been a wonderful mid card talent in the vein of his father.

    Vladimir Koslov

Monster Russian to Santino sidekick, back to Mother Russia we go.

From being the typical monster heel before being comedified, it looks like he won’t be terrorizing the likes of the Superstars

    Chris Masters

    Masterpiece no more

After his third attempt in the company this potential talent is now free to roam the independent wrestling circuit. So much for that supposed After-Mania push.

In TNA news, Amazing Red was released citing creative differences with the company. Basically the “Creative has nothing for you” differences

Potentially Puerto Rican Rey 2.0, wasted opportunity

I would also like to wish a 100th Happy birthday to the Late, Great Lucille Ball. Even after 60 years your show is still funny-

    1911-1989

    Pintnoir out!

  4. Well first off, before we get down to the wrestling… unless you’ve missed it… there are five wrestlers who you will not see on Smackdown tonight (or any other WWE broadcasting) as they’ve been future endeavored. These would be Melina Perez, Gail Kim, Vladimir Kozlov, Chris Masters, and Harry “DH” Smith. Of the lot, I wouldn’t be shocked to see at least on of these people show up in TNA at some point.

Let’s get onto Smackdown then, shall we? Looks like we’ve got seven matches on the slate, which is fine by me.

  5. I skip this show every week for the past 9 months, then show up at random to review it.  That’s how ThinkSoJoE’s IMPACT review works!

  6. Didn’t I just do SmackDown on Friday?  That’s right, fellow Bored Wrestling Fans, this is ThinkSoJoE covering for the one and only Aly Kat (who just turned 20 this past week, BTW) as she’s probably stuck at work.  Come to think of it, I’m stuck at work too!  Difference is, I can watch RAW while I’m here (though I’m not really supposed to).  Anyways, I’m excited at the prospect of covering tonight’s RAW as many experts are saying that this could be a very important night in one of the biggest storylines in recent memory.  A few folks have said WWE could screw the whole CM Punk thing up tonight, but every one of them, and myself, are hoping that they don’t.  Let’s see what happens!

  7. I’m not going to rant here. I’m an old guy when it comes to “What All the Kids Are Doing.” Seems that we’ve heard all about planking. Lying down all flat and being a plank. Pretty cool stuff. Or so I’m told. Looks awesome!

Generally I would never endorse any of this, as it’s not my thing. But, do what you like folks!

Note: I published this over at wonderpodonline.com late last night, and realized I didn’t share it over here at the Bored Wrestling Fan.

  8. After making the clean tag with G, Im back with another edition of Stampede Wrestling classics. This time around I am bringing in someone one BIG. How big you say? How about the legendary Andre the Giant?  In order to showcase his amazing size and skills, the big hearted giant made several appearances in the Stampede promotion over the years often appearing in gimmick matches like handicap matches and “tug of wars” . If you don’t think that Andre had skills, think again. He was man who once lifted a massive Arnold Schwarzenegger off his feet so he couldn’t pay the bill at a restaurant, while only using one arm . Andre had incredible strength. Thus, not accidently killing his opponents in the ring while preforming required great skill on his behalf. Skills that I assure you the other wrestlers were praying for. This week, I bring you a match taylor made for Andre, the battle royal. While its almost impossible to NOT center your attention completely on the giant in this encounter from Stampedes past you will find other wrestlers in the mix that are worth noting as well. At least 2 of the Hart brothers are partaking in the chaos, Bruce and Keith can be seen slugging away at their opponents. Also, a young Stampede Wrestler who would later become the Junk Yard Dog in WWF considers his chances against Andre as well.  Im off to wonderpodonline.com to check out our video game podcast and  also my retro PC game for the week , see you there if your interested! But, “In the meantime and in-between time.” enjoy this old school battle royal and I will be back with another ” ring a ding dong dandy ” next week!

  9. Hey folks, ThinkSoJoE here, for a rare SmackDown review.  I think it’s been a while since I’ve actually made it through an episode, and I’ve already hit play, so let’s go!

  10. Whoop dee do. It’s time for Impact Wrestling… remember how the weeks leading up to Destination X were really good shows, and promising that TNA was turning things around? Me neither. Let’s hop to this, I suppose.
