This is my most hated week of the year.  Don’t get me wrong, I love my country, and I love my neighbors to the north in Canada, but in the business I work in outside of BoredWrestlingFan, and in the city in which I work in said business, this is one of the most stressful weeks of the year.  We’re busy early in the week for Canada Day, and then we’re busy later in the week for Independence Day.  On top of that, this week marks 11 years I’ve been in said business, so I face the fact that for over a decade, I haven’t been able to find anything better than what I do.  Oh well.  Let’s go!

I watch 30 minutes of RAW, leave for work, give you the gist of the first 30, then review the rest of the show with semi-factual information.  Except this week, because I don’t feel like it.  What are you gonna do about it?  Complain?  To who?  This is my site, I do what I want with my reviews.  Plus, I play by my own rules.  Screw you, G’s SmackDown Reviews!

Today on BWF Radio, Jorge returns!  Joe, G, and JT discuss the current state of “The Simpsons: Tapped Out” on their mobile devices, and try to come up with good ideas for the WWE2K14 cover art contest.  We mourn the passing of the late, great Matt Borne, a former BWF Radio guest in his own right.  We recap RAW, muse over Main Event, invoke Impact, and speak on SmackDown.  Speculation starts as to why Matt Striker was unable to do the interview with us this past week.  We get the latest on Taz’s contract situation, find out about Jack Swagger’s fines, and learn who has been the mastermind behind signing top indy stars to WWE.  We learn that there is a book coming out that will have some interesting stories about John Cena – and no, it’s not written by his ex-wife.  Speaking of wives, find out which two WWE Superstars were married this past week.  All this, and the NHL Draft, on BoredWrestlingFan Radio!

    Ah, No Mercy…

We started late.  We ended early.  That can only mean one thing – Jorge wasn’t here.  G tries to avoid drowning in the flooded mess that is Calgary and JT’s personalities fight each other while Joe laments the drowning of his phone in his swimming pool yesterday.  That Damn Double C gives us some good listening material in the form of a Sexual Harassment Education video.  Mick Foley appears on The Daily Show.  RAW wows us, even if Christian underwhelms Joe.  Main Event is main-eventy, and SmackDown gets the depressed G treatment.

In the news, we get reactions to Rob Van Dam’s WWE return at Money In The Bank.  We assess Sheamus’ ability to make metaphors.  We ponder what Matt Hardy’s latest internet video means (besides a half-naked Reby Sky), and we find out how much money Jack Swagger will lose in fines over his recent marijuana arrest.  Where have we heard Triple H and The Undertaker’s theme songs lately?  We get HBK’s thoughts on the potential to revive tag team wrestling (courtesy of Ministry of Slam).  All this, plus Iron Sheik Tweets and the all new segment, “Stump JT.”

    Tune in!

    Interesting GIF this week, G.

The crew celebrate the site turning five the only way they know how – Cock talk!  Joe, Jorge, JT, and G talk about the week in wrestling and are joined via the social stream on Ustream by Rytman and the returning mysterious Mavenfan.  Raw is reviewed, Main Event is mentioned, Impact is investigated, and SmackDown is spoken about.  JT-G returns, and his vote for Rebecca Black’s “Friday” to be the break song is vetoed.  We find out Bret Hart’s thoughts on Owen not being in the WWE Hall of Fame, hear how James Storm is doing after his match at Slammiversary, and discover what caused Chris Sabin to bleed after Ultimate X.  Jeff and Karen Jarrett tweet their thoughts on Kurt Angle being the next inductee into the TNA Hall of Fame.  We discover what That Damn Double C would do with the Dolph Ziggler character if he were running things.  Scott Steiner wins the Dutch World Championship.  Mavenfan reveals himself to not be a him at all.  All this, and much, much more on BoredWrestlingFan Radio!
