Well, here we are… hot off the heels of the 1000th episode of RAW. How am I supposed to be excited for Smackdown? The reality is that I can’t get excited. I mean consider all the awesomeness we saw!
Just one of many things you and I forgot happened on the 1000th episode of RAW.
I think I’m going to need a hand “getting to it, shall we?” this week…
Hot off the heels of the biggest event of the summer, SummerSlam, we’re set for RAW action! Lots of questions to answer – did Triple H know John Cena’s foot was on the bottom rope? Does it matter? Why was the Anonymous RAW GM podium at SummerSlam – is he (or she) back? And perhaps the biggest question of them all – why did Kevin Nash attack CM Punk? Is he working with Del Rio? Is everybody working with Triple H? Is it all just a big C-O-N-Spiracy? Will we find out? Won’t you click the “continue reading” link to find out?
How now, Brown Cow?! I’m back for another rousing edition of WWE Superstars. Here we go.
Match 1:Goldust vs William Regal
William Regal wins with the running knee to the head. Who cares?! These two should not be squarring off against each other. They should be helping build up the younger talent.
Match 2: Vance Archer and Curt Hawkins vs The Dudebusters
The Dudebusters get the win after Trent Beretta hits the rope walking DDT on Archer. These two team are horrific. I can almost get behind Archer and Hawkins because of their dynamic, but the Dudebusters absolutely suck.
Main Event: Drew McIntyre vs Chris Masters
Drew McIntyre on Superstars?! OK??? Who’s cereal did he pee in? He gets the win in a pretty competitive matchup with the Future Shock DDT.
We’re down to one week before the first elimination. Tonight’s main event is David Otunga vs his pro R-Truth. In addition, the rookie challenge is an obstacle course. (more…)
Before we get started, I’d like to welcome all the new Bored Wrestling Fans visiting our site that I’ve been talkin to on twitter for the past few days. Want to get your thoughts featured in our RAW reviews every Monday? Get our attention on twitter @BrdWrstlngFn!
I’m out of it tonight, so here are the results of ECW on SciFi, courtesy of Rajah.com
* Jack Swagger b. Tommy Dreamer
– The match starts out in the ring but Jack brings in kendo sticks, chairs, and other weapons. He attempts a submission move on Dreamer with a chair. The match goes back and forth until Dreamer brings in a table. Jack uses it against him slamming him through it. He gets the win via pinfall.
* The Miz & John Morrison are shown on the screen talking about Survivor Series. The Boogeyman appears and scares them away.
* DJ Gabriel b. A Local Jobber
– Gabriel got the win via a second-rope shoulder block.
* Finlay vs. Mark Henry
– The match ends in disqualification after a brawl takes place on the outside.
