I watch, write, and suffer because Joe can’t. Hi, it’s Mark here from the Impact reviews. Joe couldn’t be here today so you have me.
Oh this is going to be painful.
Well. It was an adventure trying to manage to watch RAW tonight, but I finally managed to be able to do it. So since it’s already close to 1:30AM, I’m going to half ass this. Yes, even more than usual.
I watch 30 minutes, yadda yadda yadda, SmackDown sucks.
The WWE has been plowing through their storylines since the summer… and not much will change tonight. As opposed to marketing one of the biggest gimmick matches in the traditions of Mexico’s wrestling scene, the WWE forgot to mention on RAW that they are having a mask vs mask match on Smackdown. At least they had the common sense to announce it on their website for us so-called 10%’s, the same people who knew about it before they even posted it… Let’s get to it, shall we?
Oh yeah, in case you forgot (you probably did), there’s actually a PPV on Sunday. So this is the go-home show. They couldn’t wait 3 days for the mask vs mask match… with no build… gawd…
Tonight, the odds have rarely been stacked higher for Edge, as the World Heavyweight Championship is up for grabs – and Vickie Guerrero is the special guest referee. Yikes!
Tonight, Rey Mysterio calls out the Undertaker! Rey/Taker matches always seem to be tough ones for the audience because they are (regardless of alignment) the two most over guys on the show. Taker is simply not going to be booed. How will calling out the Dead Man end for the perpetual underdog? We go to the opening credits. (more…)
Well, I guess I have no excuses not to review the WWE shows anymore – I lost my job yesterday. Damned George W Bush. Oh well, that’s almost over. What’s not over? Jeff Hardy’s WWE Championship reign! After winning the title in Buffalo at Armageddon, he survived an assault from Vladimir Kozlov and Edge last week, with a little help from Triple H. What’s SmackDown GM Vickie Guerrero got in store for the Unique Enigma this week? We’ll soon find out!

Hey, just wanted to chime in and give some thoughts and the world as I see it. (more…)
We took a page out of Metallica‘s book and installed a theme switcher here on BoredWrestlingFan.com. Of course, we couldn’t have a theme switcher without a new theme. Check out the new one, “Steel Steps.” We’ll add more as I get more ideas. It’s not much, but it’s something!
For the last several weeks, TNA iMPACT has been one of the most entertaining wrestling shows. Last night’s iMPACT was a big one, and almost had a pay-per-view like feel to it, just three days before Hard Justice. All of the matches for this Sunday’s PPV were showcased, some intertwining with each other, and there were a lot of crazy parts to the show, and some sick bumps being taken, including one that left the canvas soaked in the blood of Kurt Angle.
