The torture that is Friday Night Smackdown has been lessened somewhat over the past little while… tonight may bring similar stories, or it might just nose-dive. You never can know with this show these days. It’s funny, for years Smackdown is where you went to watch matches in contrast to RAW being segment-heavy and dominated by self-serving power-brokers. Let’s see what the McMahon cohorts have in store for us tonight, shall we?

I have no idea how this didn’t get posted, but here’s the review for the next to last episode of NXT season 2
We open up what could be a rather uneventful show(if spoilers are to be believed) with a replay of last week’s elimiantions and show closing brawl.
We start out with the pros coming out, Kofi, Ryder, Rhodes, Laycool, MVP.
Next up the rookies. You know be kind of looks like that Batboy from Weekly World News.

The so-called Smackdown Six format is long gone and we’ve been left with a ridiculously worsening product for some time now… so let’s get to it, shall we?

Time for our second elimination. Personally I voted for Husky Harris figuring that he, Cannon and Cottonwood would be on the bubble, with Kaval, Watson and McGillicutty safe. And maybe if I’m lucky Riley maybe falling through the cracks.

Another week, another Smackdown… hopefully my apartment won’t pretend to burn down again this time? Guess what, the alarm went off early Monday morning as well! Right after drinking my face off at the Calgary Stampede into the wee hours… I live on the top floor of an apartment building, and lucky me, people have been working on repairs all week… it wouldn’t be so bad if I didn’t have a night job. So needless to say, I’ve gotten very little sleep this week. Let’s see if Smackdown can keep me awake… (more…)
We open with an empty arena. Matt Striker is demonstrating the obstacle course the rookies will have to navigate. Which is much less annoying than season 1’s. The winner will have immunity from next week’s elimination.
