  1. WWE RAW results 7/20/09

Alright, this should be fun!  I’m reviewing the show on a brand new laptop, and I woke up 5 minutes before the damned show started, starving but not wanting to let you guys down, since I missed my last two assignments here on BWF.  Well, we’re getting back to normal this week, sort of.  I’m back to do all my reviews, Legend Killer will be around on Wednesday with a new article (and he’s also working on something new for VinceRussoWatchesHisBeardGrow.com), and we’ll have Random Randomness on… Friday?!?  JT is going on vacation at the end of the week, so he’s going to drop in with his column a couple days early.  Anyways, I digress, put on your cheap sunglasses, it’s time for RAW with guest hosts ZZ Top!

  2. RAW results & thoughts 6/8/09

I know, I know.  I’v e been changing the format of the RAW review on a near weekly basis.  I wasn’t intending to this time, but I wound up oversleeping and waking up just 5 minutes before the show started, leaving me with no time to set up a review.  The important thing is, I watched RAW, and I’m going to tell you about it.  Ready?  Let’s go!

  3. RAW Review – 6/1/09

Finally – ThinkSoJoE…  HAS COME BACK! to reviewing shows.  I’ve been trying to get motivated to write about the programming lately, but I’ve been sleeping through most of it.  RAW’s been boring, ECW’s been entertaining but I haven’t really been paying a lot of attention to it, and SmackDown hasn’t been bad – but I’m usually sleeping when it’s on.  That’s the problem with working overnights, I guess.  Anyway, Kofi Kingston will be taking on MVP for the United States Championship tonight, so without further adieu, let’s get started…

  4. SmackDown results – 4/24/09

I wasn’t home and missed the first half of SmackDown, so here are the results courtesy of tvfanatic.com:

WWE SmackDown was taped this week from London. In the main event, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase took on Shane McMahon and Batista. Here’s a rundown of events and matches from the event…

    – Edge comes (to the) ring and cuts promo on Sunday’s Backlash. Lots of heat when he mentions Vickie Guerrero. She sucks.

    – Matt Hardy and Kane defeat Jeff Hardy and CM Punk; Solid match. Matt gets the rollup on Jeff for the victory.

    – The Big Show defeats The Undertaker; The Big Show delivers a knockout blow to the back of Undertaker’s head. The referee stops the match because Undertaker can’t continue. But The Undertaker gets up and punches Big Show out of the ring.

    – Maryse defeats Gail Kim, retains the WWE Divas Championship; very boring match.

    – MVP defeats Chavo Guerrero; quick match that was followed by a challenge to MVP by Dolph Ziggler for a match next week.

    – Shane McMahon and Batista defeat Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase; Shane gets the pin but also accidentally knocks Batista off the ropes during the match. Uh-oh.

  5. Who’s going where? RAW, 4/13/09

I’d hate to have to do this, especially since I skipped out on ECW and SmackDown last week (and, in fact, have not seen either of them), but something came up when I was getting set to review RAW that led to me having to leave and miss most of the show.  Sure, it’s on my DVR, but still, this is a special night of RAW, and it can’t be cast aside to be watched tomorrow and reviewed then.  Indeed, folks, tonight was Draft night.  I was going to post predictions earlier in the day but decided against it.  The only person I really felt was definitely moving was Triple H, and “my predictions:  Triple H to RAW” is not exactly a compelling article.  I also was going to predict that something absolutely insane would happen to Vince McMahon, since that’s been the case at the draft shows for the last two years.

  6. WWE No Way Out Thoughts

Today is a great day for BoredWrestlingFan – we’ve likely had our most articles posted in one day, what with the three earlier and now the No Way Out posting actually going up on the day of the show!

It was a unique PPV to say the least, and whether or not I like the event in general is irrelevant.  What matters is that WWE put on a great show with a surprise here and there, and gives credible reasons for some of the rumored WrestleMania matches to happen.

What happened?  Find out, after the jump! (more…)

  7. RAW on DVR review – 2/2/09

Wow, an “on DVR” review.  It’s been a while since I did one of those.  Normally I’d write the article while the show is on and finish it when I got to work, but I slept in last night.  I didn’t wake up until 10:20PM, and by then I had to leave for work.  So, for the first time in a bit, it’s the RAW ON DVR review!

Oh yeah, and it’s after the jump! (more…)

  8. Ranting about RAW – 1/26/09

No, it’s not an official title for the RAW reviews.  It’s just what I’m doing this week.  And not much of it.  I’m tired and I didn’t really care about much that went on with RAW, but as I just said during the Rumble review, I don’t want to give you guys a stupid “here are the results from” wherever post.

  9. WWE RAW review – 1/19/09

Oh what a joyous day!  Today is Martin Luther King, Jr. day, and it’s only fitting that tomorrow morning is the inauguration of the first black president in United States history, Barack Obama.  I’m counting down the hours until Dubya is gone, but for our purposes today, that’s pretty irrelevant.

Today is also joyous for another reason – Mr. McMahon returns to Monday Night RAW!  It’s fitting, perhaps, that the last time Mr. McMahon was on WWE television was also the last time I had to write a review of RAW the way I’m doing tonight – I’ll be writing most of it here at home, then finishing it once I get to work.  For you early adopters of the BoredWrestlingFan brand of Sports Entertainment coverage, no, the power was never turned back on at my job – in fact, the place is now out of business.  I started a new job doing exactly what I was doing before – sadly for less money.

Anyways, you’re not here to read about my life (I’ve got ThinkSoJoE’s Thoughts for that!), you’re here to read about Monday Night RAW!  Fear not, loyal readers, the results are after the jump! (more…)
