I was thinking about doing this review before the show even aired in my area, watching it early via YouTube around 2:30PM. Then I figured, screw it, I can get drunk and review the show later (on DVR after the Sabres game against the Canadiens), since a drunken review may be entertaining. So now I’m finally awake, got some more nachos (hooray, more nachos!), a beer by my side, and I’m ready to fire up the DVR and watch WWE SmackDown! (more…)
Welcome to this week’s edition of Crazy Shit Happens to Jeff Hardy, a.k.a. Friday Night SmackDown. Tonight will feature Victoria’s retirement match as she takes on Michelle McCool before setting off into the sunset. We’ll also see the return of Jeff Hardy following his unfortunate hit and run accident last week. What insanely bizarre thing will happen to the WWE Champion this week?
Well, I haven’t had the motivation to write up a review of SmackDown from this past Friday – in fact, if anybody is interested in writing the SmackDown reviews from now on, drop a comment and let me know. We’ve got a bit of a special case this week though – rather than copy and paste from a “Newz” site, I’ve taken it straight from the horse’s mouth. No, not Vickie Guerrero, but from WWE.com. The reason being, there was an angle involving WWE Champion Jeff Hardy that was added into the broadcast after it was taped, and we usually take our SmackDown results from spoilers if I can’t get a review up.
WWE.com’s SmackDown results, after the jump! (more…)
Well, I guess I have no excuses not to review the WWE shows anymore – I lost my job yesterday. Damned George W Bush. Oh well, that’s almost over. What’s not over? Jeff Hardy’s WWE Championship reign! After winning the title in Buffalo at Armageddon, he survived an assault from Vladimir Kozlov and Edge last week, with a little help from Triple H. What’s SmackDown GM Vickie Guerrero got in store for the Unique Enigma this week? We’ll soon find out!
Next week, WWE SmackDown moves to MyNetwork TV! Tonight, Jeff Hardy and Triple H team up to take on The Brian Kendrick and MVP, while Vladimir Kozlov takes on The Great Khali. All this and more, coming up at 8PM on the very last edition of WWE SmackDown on the CW!
