Well, I had a SmackDown review all typed up and ready to go, but unfortunately, my laptop decided it didn’t want to respond to the keyboard or mouse anymore, so I couldn’t even save my work, since I was working offline. D’oh! Well, I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to send some traffic to that other wrestling website.

A new ThinkSoJoE’s Thoughts will be up early Saturday morning, so stay tuned!
It’s Friday, and you know what that means – time for another edition of WWE SmackDown! I’m not in a very creative mood for this intro tonight, so let’s get started!
I wasn’t home and missed the first half of SmackDown, so here are the results courtesy of tvfanatic.com:
WWE SmackDown was taped this week from London. In the main event, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase took on Shane McMahon and Batista. Here’s a rundown of events and matches from the event…
– Edge comes (to the) ring and cuts promo on Sunday’s Backlash. Lots of heat when he mentions Vickie Guerrero. She sucks.
– Matt Hardy and Kane defeat Jeff Hardy and CM Punk; Solid match. Matt gets the rollup on Jeff for the victory.
– The Big Show defeats The Undertaker; The Big Show delivers a knockout blow to the back of Undertaker’s head. The referee stops the match because Undertaker can’t continue. But The Undertaker gets up and punches Big Show out of the ring.
– Maryse defeats Gail Kim, retains the WWE Divas Championship; very boring match.
– MVP defeats Chavo Guerrero; quick match that was followed by a challenge to MVP by Dolph Ziggler for a match next week.
– Shane McMahon and Batista defeat Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase; Shane gets the pin but also accidentally knocks Batista off the ropes during the match. Uh-oh.
It’s time for the second Friday The Thirteenth episode of SmackDown this year – with one more to go, being mine and JT’s birthday in November! I have no idea what’s booked for tonight, so we’ll find out as we go along!
SmackDown review after the jump! (more…)
I was thinking about doing this review before the show even aired in my area, watching it early via YouTube around 2:30PM. Then I figured, screw it, I can get drunk and review the show later (on DVR after the Sabres game against the Canadiens), since a drunken review may be entertaining. So now I’m finally awake, got some more nachos (hooray, more nachos!), a beer by my side, and I’m ready to fire up the DVR and watch WWE SmackDown! (more…)
Welcome to this week’s edition of Crazy Shit Happens to Jeff Hardy, a.k.a. Friday Night SmackDown. Tonight will feature Victoria’s retirement match as she takes on Michelle McCool before setting off into the sunset. We’ll also see the return of Jeff Hardy following his unfortunate hit and run accident last week. What insanely bizarre thing will happen to the WWE Champion this week?
WWE SmackDown review, after the jump! (more…)
As stated yesterday, I’ve been super busy lately, to the point that I haven’t even gotten to watch SmackDown from this past Friday, which included Jeff Hardy’s title celebration. However, since you guys are good to me, here (after the jump, of course) are the results, courtesy of Rajah.com! (more…)
I know, I know, the show was two days ago, but I’ve been caught up in working on a new skin for BoredWrestlingFan. It’s not quite ready yet but I expect it to be up and running around Monday morning. I’ve put a lot of work into it, and it’s going to be the first theme to really break away from the original “BWF Classic” theme. It probably also doesn’t help that I started to watch SmackDown while it was on the other night, and didn’t really feel like watching it again to review it. Not to say that it was a bad show, at least what I’ve seen so far. Now that I’ve gone off on a rant about my reasons for not doing the review yet, I’ll get to work on this week’s WWE SmackDown on DVR review!
SmackDown review and thoughts (finally), after the jump! (more…)
I like doing these “On DVR” reviews. I get to watch a WWE show, give you my thoughts on it as I watch, and be done in like an hour and a half. It’s much easier to enjoy the shows this way than trying to write them in real time as the show is actually on. Anyways, SmackDown’s been my favorite show of the week on a consistent basis, and I get to do a review of SmackDown, which features the new WWE Champion, Edge! It’s been a while since Edge has been seen on SmackDown, and since he’s one of my personal favorites, I’m glad to have him back, as I feel as though it can only make the show better.
Enough of my ranting and raving about the Rated R Superstar, my thoughts on this week’s WWE SmackDown are after the jump! (more…)
