The flagship site of the BWF Network, BoredWrestlingFan.com was launched on June 9th, 2008 and has been growing ever since – and so has it’s fanbase. Bored Wrestling Fan started out as a small project, only having reviews of the various wrestling programming on television and a weekly podcast, but the site’s popularity has led to more original articles by a variety of writers. The site has led to the launch of a “Bored Fanchise” series of sites, starting with BoredHockeyFan.com in September 2012.

Meet The Staff

ThinkSoJoE

The founder of BoredWrestlingFan.com and it’s parent company, Fropac Entertainment, ThinkSoJoE has been a wrestling fan since he first saw WWF television in 1986 at the age of four. His first wrestling memory was Hulk Hogan on Saturday Night’s Main Event talking about getting King Kong Bundy in a cage at WrestleMania 2. Sixteen years later, he met Hulk Hogan on the eve of WrestleMania X-8.  On December 9, 2013, he legitimately won a Slammy Award (Best Crowd of the Year).  ThinkSoJoE currently provides the WWE RAW reviews and hosts the weekly BWF Radio podcast.

JT

If ThinkSoJoE were exactly three years older, lived halfway across New York State, and had short red hair, he would be JT. JT’s first appearance as a writer on BoredWrestlingFan came when he covered the October 21, 2008 episode of ECW on SciFi in ThinkSoJoE’s absense. He currently contributes the Ring of Honor TV reviews and co-hosts BWF Radio.

G

There may be, perhaps, no city in the world that has contributed more greats to the world of professional wrestling than Calgary, Alberta, Canada.  G‘s presence on Bored Wrestling Fan is yet another example of that fact.  G began his BWF career when ThinkSoJoE published a comment he made on the site as a full article, entitled “The Life of a WWE Seat Filler.”  G currently provides the popular SmackDown review, and is the only person to have appeared on every episode of BWF Radio.

Drowgoddess

The Southern Belle of BoredWrestlingFan, Drowgoddess is a native Texan who joined BoredWrestlingFan at the end of October of 2008 with a look at Vince McMahon’s rumored decision to call his wrestlers “entertainers” instead of “wrestlers” or “Superstars.” Having covered TNA for most of her tenure at BoredWrestlingFan.com, the former “Empress of iMPACT” has moved on to publishing occasional columns for the site.

On March 18, 2009 as ThinkSoJoE was working on a BWF column, a brick came crashing through the window of BWF headquarters with a mysterious note attached.  The note’s author proclaimed that starting the following Wednesday, you’d be able to come to BoredWrestlingFan.com for your Wednesday wrestling fix.  The author, who still owes ThinkSoJoE a new window, turned out to be Legend Killer.  Hailing from Australia, LK brings international flavor to Bored Wrestling Fan every now and again with his “War on Everything.”

Frequently re-tweeted in ThinkSoJoE’s RAW reviews, AlyKat started taking on a more prominent role on the site as a frequent “Guest Host” for the last 30 minutes of said reviews.  Eventually, she was chosen to take over BWF’s RAW coverage entirely, complete with Tweets from BWF fans!  Real life pulled Aly away from BWF, but she remains a good friend of the site to this day!
